I wouldn't ever move to Milwaukee either, but no one is paying me millions of dollars to play a sport I love and giving me the opportunity to be the most popular Asian guy in the Midwest. And people have to realize that Yi Jianlian is not making any decisions himself. He is totally under the control of conniving agents and owners in China who have nothing but their own business interests in mind and are exhibiting the type of single-minded idiocy that only living in a dictatorship could create. This is not a Steve Francis to Vancouver situation. If his handlers let Yi go to Milwaukee, he would play. The guy just wants to play.
China is like that paranoid, overprotective parent who finally lets his kids out into the world and then starts crying when he can no longer control every aspect of their lives anymore. ****, let Yao live, and let Yi PLAY.

You guys need to understand, this kid doesn't make any of his own decisions. Agents from the Guangdong Tigers and the Chinese National basketball team are completely controlling his fate.
But in any case, those idiots need to just let Yi come over and play for Milwaukee because he's not a franchise player anyway. So what if Milwaukee trades his rights to NY or Chicago? He could play there for two years, then they could end up trading him to Memphis. Then what?

LET YI PLAY.
