First of all you should pull for me to be correct on at least part of that challenge. With Nebraska coming into the Big 10 in 2011 you should want to come in as sucscessful as possible. This would look very good for the Big 10. Winning the Big 12 this year would facilitate that success somewhat. And by all measures of progression, Nebrask awill have its strongest program of the last 10 years in 2011. With the cofnference divisions placing Ohio St. and Nebraska in different divisions, Nebraska will challenge for the conference championship immedieatly. This could be interesting!

As a person who played with and against Johnny Rogers in little and highscholl football, I miss the traditional rivalries with Ok and Col. But you're absolutely right. Nebraska had to break the grip that texas had on its(neb) ablity to get its fair share of money. Sooner or later some of the other big 12 schools will see their way out of the conference. Here's to the start and enjoyment of some great new rivalries and traditions. Nebraska can't do anything but upgrade the level of play across the big 12 conference
