I disagree. I think Peyton Manning is better than Tom Brady. No one player has EVER meant more to one team than Peyton Manning. He's carried an entire franchise. Kept them in the city of Indianapolis and let's not forget that Peyton Manning NEVER had the defenses that Brady had. You give Peyton those defenses and he would've won 6 Super Bowls. Go back and look where those New England defenses were ranked.
Another thing, when Brady went down for a full season, what was the Patriots record? 11-5 right? Well you see what happens when Manning goes down, it's not even a NFL caliber team. Get real. Manning is better than Tom Brady who by the way hasn't won a damn thing since SpyGate ok. Let's not forget about Bellichick filming opponents walk throughs and practices and maybe more seeing as the league covered it up. Stop fooling yourself. Brady isn't in the same class as Peyton.
A better question is who is better between Tom Brady and Eli Manning and after Eli beats him head to head in the Super Bowl for a SECOND time then the answer to that will be ELI.
I'm actually going to side with the rookie here. Miami is CLEARLY better than every other team in the East but who is 2nd? Not the Bulls, they still don't have a dependable BIG or another perimeter player that can create for himself & score 30 or 40 if necessary.
The Knicks DAMN SURE isn't the 2nd best and the Pacers are still shaky.
To me, it's between the Hawks & the [when healthy] Celtics. Those two teams would beat the Bulls in a 7 game series & both teams would give the Heat a 6 or 7 game series. Head to head, i actually think the Hawks would beat Boston.
(Because of the seedings, i doubt the Hawks would get to the ECFs. They'd run into the Heat either in the 2nd round because my guess is they'd be in that 4-5 bracket but still would be the 2nd best team in the East come playoff time due to their playoff togetherness & team chemistry)
I said "not as weak as it use to be". Meaning it's good now.
Browns have targets and i'll take accuracy over arm strength any day of the week. QBs can make WRs and TEs look better than what they are. Manning turned a good WR [Marvin Harrison] into a HOF WR. Not to put Colt in the same class as Peyton but you get my point.
Chicago make the playoffs? Lol. That has to be a joke. Led by Jay Cutler? The NFC is not as weak as it use to be. You're going to have to actually TRY to make the playoffs. 5-11 season for the Bears.
Have you seen Colt? He has grown over the past year. He's ready to take us to the next level. Not to mention a great O-line and a Probowl RB. We're ready.
Not buying into the Eagles. I don't trust them in close games. Cowboys will suck forever. Giants take the division. Redskins are a nonfactor.
Not buying into the Patriots. Every year everybody seems to drink that bloody SpyGate juice except for me and last year, when i got on the NFL's and said that the Jets would beat them in the playoffs, everyone laughed. ..... Not so funny now. I wish you people would give it a rest. Pats haven't won anything since 2004. It's over.
Rings talk ... especially if you led your team to one. Rivers is the most overrated. He's been a post season disaster. He's only top 10 through numbers.
