Nope. Like the guy said, [There are no Andrew Lucks or Peyton Mannings out there this year]. Personally, I would not waste my #1 on a QB. Manzeil, Bortles both early 2nd round... Bridgewater & Carr in Rd 3.... The rest spread out from there.

That game was a gift.... bad call at 2nd on the DP attempt and then 2 errors by the best fielding team in baseball..... a GIFT pure and simple.

Lord no... Not Kiffin
Posted Wednesday January 08, 2014, About: Johnny Manziel still unsure of NFL Draft decision
It's the smart move.....or at least appears to be. He should take his time and make the right decision for himself. I think he should turn pro. A&M will not have a shot at a National Title next season (Bama, LSU, Auburn, SC, GA will all be ahead of them in the SEC alone). He's already won the Heisman. Instead of risking injury, turn pro. If he's drafted by Cleveland, Oakland or Jax he's liable to be the starter from Day 1.

I don't even think Lane would take him now.....
Posted Monday December 30, 2013, About: McDaniels to Cleveland?
The only team in the NFL that plays Russian roulette with a round in each chamber. McDaniels is NOT their answer. Look to Briles or Shaw. Stay away from the Belichik lines. Far more failure than success stemming from it.
Posted Friday December 20, 2013, About: Gruden back to the Raiders?
See Joe Gibbs, 30-34 Reg Season 1 - 2 Post Season on his return. After his 1st campaign when he was 124-60, and 16-5 including 3 SB victories. It won't work Jonny

You've had too many ..... wait an hour and start again

It's a thought......and I've heard rumor as well.

Malzahn heading to TEXAS following BCS Title game!!! 5 yr. $32.5M plus $250,000 bonus for making the title game and $500,000 bonus to win it all, each occurrence.

There it is! Although, as a coach, I know it's AWFULLY tempting when a coaching spot opens up and your name is mentioned. The itch doesn't go away with more $$$ or a cushy job.

Clearly missing the point.... this is a forum for all arm chair quarterbacks and dinner table owners to spew their beliefs and thoughts, me included. NONE of us out here (yourself included) can possibly believe that our opinions, statements, thoughts, concerns, solutions, etc....have ANY bearing whatsoever on the subject at hand. So..... WHAT IF....... He was hired? and WHAT IF.... he made the program better?
Posted Thursday December 19, 2013, About: Gruden would consider Texas
I honestly think Gruden would do well in Texas. Kiffin makes me cringe but it's hard to 2nd guess Saban.
Posted Thursday December 19, 2013, About: Gruden would consider Texas
NOT EVEN NEAR CLOSE!!! I am really indifferent to UT, we play them so infrequently. No love for TAMU at all.
Posted Thursday December 19, 2013, About: Gruden would consider Texas
OK. So who do you want?
Posted Thursday December 19, 2013, About: Gruden would consider Texas
Not even close...... Gruden is a good fit there. FYI .... ROLL TIDE!
Posted Thursday December 19, 2013, About: Gruden would consider Texas
Gruden would be a good pick for UT. Of course, for those that balk at that idea, I here Lane Kiffin hasn't completed his mission of destroying college football.
Posted Wednesday December 18, 2013, About: Jerry thinks it's crazy to hire a GM
Jerry has dug his own grave and IF (HUGE "IF" HERE) her can realize that he is a big part of the problem, they will have a shot...they do have some talent. Bottom line, can Garrett, Kiffin, Callahan and reload there. Step down as GM and hire one to ACTUALLY DO THE JOB. Get out of the player decision making process.
Posted Wednesday December 18, 2013, About: Jerry thinks it's crazy to hire a GM
EXCELLENT POINT! I know it's HIS team...but in ANY successful company, the owners let and in fact, MAKE those beneath them DO THEIR JOBS and in doing so, create a successful environment. Garrett is NOT that coach. He is a doormat. They need a control freak type of coach that commands the best from his players and they need an owner that is willing to let go of the reins to be successful.
Posted Wednesday December 18, 2013, About: Jerry thinks it's crazy to hire a GM
Hey Jerry.... what's the Cowboy's post season record since 1997? 1 - 8. Maybe it's time to turn it over to someone who knows something about player personnel and putting together a team that CAN WIN BIG GAMES. If THAT happens...... that LOUD hissing noise you hear is Jerry's HUGE ego deflating
