I am by no means up on a high horse.If Pronger deserved a ban for repeat offences ,then give it to him.Pronger,however does not have a "history" of going after players.

Agree with you 100%

If the league took stiffer actions against players,the 1st time they were caught,we might end up with less repeat offenders.

I personally feel that any player who has been suspended 3 times or more,should get no less than 20 games.( I know damn well that this seems harsh,but I guarantee this would send the right message).

If Pronger delivered a hit ,that the league deemed worthy of a ban,then so be it.

No one in the league is bigger than the game,and the NHL seems to move on with the lost or absentism of its' biggest stars at times.

What's frustrating about these 2 guys (Carcillo and Cooke) is that if they played the way they're capable of ,without their bs antics,they're both useful contributors at times.

They both remind me of Tie Domi.The little guy was a tough s.o.b but when he put his mind to it,he was capable of getting himself on one of the top 2 lines.I also don't think that Domi was given enough credit for his skating .

This "Flyer fan"has every right to say a 5 time offender who is a dirty player should be banned.

A lot of people on this site know that I do not defend a player ,regardless of who he plays for when they deliberately play to take someone out.

I never backed up Downie with the Flyers,Riley Cote and I,m not a huge fan of Carcillo at times.

In retrospect,I,m sure Savard,Ovie,LeCavalier or Markov wish that they were only bit.

Both of them are/were physical players who have had their moments,as all players do.

How in the hell can you not have Colby Armstrong on your list?Next time you get a chance,watch a Ducks game and key in on Corey Perry,and let me know if you'd annoint him a sainthood.

Hell,I'll concede that Pronger gets away with a crapload of crosschecks,but Carcillo (and no way in hell)Hartnell are in the top 10 in league for dirtiest players.
