i think both the cowboys and vikings will probably miss the playoffs and they both suck this year. the bears on the other hand are going to rip some rear ends this year. did you guys see the hits they put on the cowboys? had em scared to catch the ball lmao. monsters of the midway are back baby!!!
i think cleveland got dramatically worse by losing lebron, that said they will still be better than toronto who's got nobody relevant. can anyone name a player on the raptors that has a chance to make the all-star team?
all of the potential hester has is emerging in martz's scheme. his ruote running has always been good, and he catches the ball well. the other surprise is johnny knox--the speediest bears reciever streaks down the field. the sleeper of the group is devin aromashodu, a 6-foot-2 201-pound slot reciever whom cutler liked last season and martz likes even more this year. its one of the fastest groups martz has ever coached. a different peppers has emerged in chicago. in one offseason, peppers is not only a leader for the bears, but he's a freak. peppers has bulked up 300 pounds, about ten pounds heavier than he was in his panther days. in practices, he's like a man playin amongst boys. in each practice peppers seems to make a play that causes players to say they have never seen such athletic moves. he'll leap in the air, bat down a pass and then make an incredible spin move to make the interception. peppers is playin so well the bears expect him to draw double- and possibly triple-team blocks. that should bode well for other members of the d-line.
watchin cutler throw, i believe he's bought into martz's offense. as much as he appeared to turn off last years coaching staff and as much as he struggled all season, cutler has settled into martz's scheme easily. he's smart. he's got a great arm. he's accurate. thats all martz asks of his quarterbacks, and those who played for him rave about how quarterback-friendly the offense can be. as a bronco in 2008 cutler threw for 4,526 yards and 25 touchdowns. as discombobulated as the 2009 bears offense was in his first year with chicago, cutler still threw for 27 touchdowns. barring disaster this season, cutler should throw for at least 30 touchdowns and 4,000 yardsl
everyone knows that smith and anyone not tied to ownership is on the hot seat to win this season. watchin the bears practice has convinced me that they are better than some people think. martz's play calling and cutler's right arm is a dangerous combination. lovie talks about re-establishing the intimidating presence of the bears defense, but something is scary about what martz is doing to this offense. understand, the bears offense is an interesting collaberation. it starts with former vikings head coach mike tice establishing an attitude and a plan for an offensive line that has been lost since it grew too old three years ago. tice preaches a smashmouth approach to his blockers. what tice and martz didn't know until they got together in meetings was that thier protection concepts and running-game plan were pretty close. tice teaches some of the old principles he learned when he was playin with joe gibbs on the redskins. martz is a mad scientist with his unpredictable motion schemes. he believes in stretching a defense on almost every play. martz is excited about what he considers diamonds in the rough at wide reciever and tight end. it will be hard to re-run his greatest show on turf days with the rams but the bears can be a good show on grass.
the cowboys are hopin they don't get any famous lady singers come to the games this season. jessica simpson really screwed up romo, and maybe he'll go ga ga for lady ga ga. romo is a ****, he's got the iq of a rock. cowboys aren't winnin anytime soon. stay tuned
???[Cutler] has that Kurt Warner-awareness,??? Martz said in reference to his Super Bowl-winning quarterback with the Rams. ???He has such a keen sense of where everybody???s at. He sees everything, can diagnose it without even thinking about it, which allows him to excel with what we do.
???We keep trying to challenge him with a lot of new things, just try to keep pressing the envelope, and then when we get into the season we???ll come back and zero in each week. So we???re trying to get as many different concepts in with Jay as we possibly can. He???s handled everything just remarkably well.
???He has always tried to do everything just the way we???ve asked him to do it. When things do break down, the really great ones have a sense of just finding a guy. He can do that. He???s been pretty remarkable so far. He???s everything that I had hoped that he would be, absolutely.???
you have too much faith in your packers. they are going to let you down again, and again. might as well jump on the bears wagon before its too late and the cheese gets stale. the cowboys might be a good matchup for the packers since they're both good chokers.
see cutler wasn't able to handle pressure, but he got better. alot of it had to do with his offensive line not protecting him, and his wr's not being where they should have been. if you look at all the int. jay threw last year half of them were not his fault. another thing is forte is not just a running back but he can also catch the ball and gain yards after the catch. grant is just a good runner. so forte is more versatile than grant. last year forte was playing hurt, so he didn't play like he could have. his rookie year he broke records for a rookie running back. another thing is that hester has become a whole lot better at running routes, combine that with his speed and you got 1000+ yard season. knox is also improving at a fast rate and he is even faster than hester.
its ok, the bulls didn't need lebron as much as he needed the bulls. we still got better and we have our own mini lebron in d rose, our core is younger, and has more potential than the heat. miami has a small window to win, so lets see what they do with all the pressure. everyone thought boston was gonna win multiple titles when they got thier big three and they only won one title and thier window is almost shut.
