All Tebow accomplished in 16 games as a starter is completely turning around an inept, losing team and taking them to the playoffs, where they won a game against a team with the top ranked defense in the league.
what did Garcia do in his first 16 games as a starter?
And still this continues? Good grief, dude. Tell me, what is the point of the game of football, to see which QB ends up with a higher completion percentage after 4 quarters? If Tebow completed 70% of his passes and his team went 0-16 would he be a better quarterback than the one who completed just under 50% and led his team to the playoffs and a victory over the top rated defense in the NFL?
RPI has nothing to do with your original comment and I have no idea why you brought it up in reply to mine. Unless you're just trying to obscure the fact that your original comment made you look like an idiot????
Denver's 24th ranked defense carried the team? Why didn't that same defense carry the team before Tebow got the starting job? Does 4-21 in the previous 25 games with Orton starting mean anything?
Personally, I don't blame him. Show me another 1st round pick with a winning record and a playoff victory in their first season as a starter who got run out of the league without ever getting another chance? Hurry, I'm waiting.
I'm aware of the sample size and the conditions it came in. What I don't understand is the 'logic' that insists he can't do something that he continually DOES. When / if he reaches the point that he can't lead a decent team to wins, that would be a reasonable time to claim he can't win. When all he's done is lead a lousy team to wins, it just seems (I'm being nice here, it actually doesn't seem, it IS) kind of stupid to claim he can't do what he's already done.
"Very true and believe me he was a "much" better QB than Tebow, could ever think of being!!!!!"
