Basketball is a players showcase. The players rule in the NBA and that's how it should be. I don't want to go to a game to stare at a suit yelling on the sidelines.

bwin21 you miss the point badly.

When a player leaves an elite team to go to a worse team he expects to improve that new team to championship level. Plus why would you want to stay some place where you get limited min. if you are stunting your development as a professional? Not good business for a young player. Only veterans ~8+ yrs in the league should be taking pay cuts to stay on a proven team.

....and I don't recall Joe Johnson ever whining in PHX. He broke his eye socket in the playoffs and couldn't contribute. Then he was traded for Diaw. When did he whine.
