Looks like The Big 10 is right in there SEC dreamers. SEC thinks they are the best in everything. There is allot more than college sports boys. In big 10 country we have allot of professional sports.

This is one guy that is not leaving to live with the roaches in the east coast. This guy is a Midwest native who is a catholic guy that I believe is not materialistic enough to have to have more money than a guy can needs like ARodonna. 12 million, 15 million what the hell is the difference.

You can dream but this isnt happening. Kent Hrbek local native wouldnt leave for more money, Kirby Pucket wouldnt leave for more money and neither is this St. Paul native. Especially with a new stadium going up in the warehouse district of Minneapolis.

How about a salary cap. This is flipping rediculus when the LA, New York and Boston are the only teams bidding for who ever they want. Last time I checked it hasnt been working for the Yankees lately.

NBA, NHL, NFL all have a salary cap and until this happens in the MLB it wont have national interest and that is why Yankee playoff games tv ratings nationally are in the tank. Outside of the East coast not many care anymore.

Go Twins, Brewers, Reds, Pirates, Royals, Marlins, Mariners, Indians, Tigers, Astros etc....
Totally bored with the highest bid baseball league. Joke

I think there should be an SEC/Big Ten challenge in football and a ACC/Pac 10 challenge etc.. This would get schools to quit scheduling pre season panzies and force the conference to stop the better conference hype that happens every year when they really have no idea because they dont play each other until the bowls. Head to head can put it to rest. Every year you switch BCS conferences. That would be the way to start the season.

Its AP or nothing. Nobody recognizes unofficial. Of course college football is the ultimate feel good sport. Maybe someday there will be a playoff and all this non sense will stop. The figures are accurate unless you are using the Tommy Helms national championship polls.

Ozzie is a good manager. Is he paying off the Detroit catcher? Did anybody see the 6th inning of the Detroit/Sox game today. Has anybody ever seen a worst catcher performance than Detroits catcher. If we lose another team to the land of fruits and nuts I will be jumping off a bridge. Are there Lakes in LA. NO The Minneapolis Lakers left for LA and we also lost the North Stars to Dallas. Never say never. Our state legislators in Minnesota are rediculus and building a new stadium is not a gaurantee. It took us near 10 years to get a new baseball stadium approved and it could take another 10 years for the Vikings to get their wish and that might give LA a chance.

After watching Jon David Booty with the Vikes I would say that USC doesnt count as a pro team.

Go on Gophersports.com and do the virtual tour of the new TCF Bank Stadium. Once you see that beauty you might agree that he may just go to Minnesota like his cousin did. The one who currently plays in the NFL.
He may want to go to Minnesota where they have 6 national championships. Be it a long time ago the trophies are still in the case. And they still have a shine to them.

Pack are afraid of the Vikings with Favre. I think they are afraid of them without Favre as well. If you are not willing to release him because you think he would hurt you than why on earth wouldn't you want him back.

Let the guy play who where he wants. He has done enough for the Pack where they should let him finish where he wants too.

He wants to play for the team that he has lost to the most in his Packer career. He has gotten over the dome losing.

His best chance for a Superbowl is the Vikings. No more cold weather games for a guy who looked a little too old for the frigid temps of the frozen tundra. He couldnt beat the Vikings in the Metrodome for years, however, he has been beating them in the dome the last few years. He is ready to take over the dome. Although we hated him for years we are not stupid enough to think that he couldn't help us get to next level.

He wants to play for the Vikes. That in itself hurts the cheeseheads.

No way would the purple give a 1st or 2nd round draft pick for Favre. They would be lucky to get 2 years out of him and he would probably waver on retirement every other month. Just release him and let him finish his career where he wants.

With that in mind. I wonder what would happen to the millions of #4 green jerseys if he went to play for the loved Vikes. Suicides from Hudson to Rhinelander to Kenosha.

I would be willing to bet that he is the starting quarterback for the Packers this year and we will find that this never ending Favre story has been the biggest and most rediculus story in years. I bet anything the Pack bring down their tough attitude and melt like butter for their little Buddy Brett after the competition for the starting job starts.

Maybe the Packer fans are ready for a change. It reminds me a little of the Purple fans wanting Tommy Kramer at the end of Fran Tarkentons career.

Kramer was never as good as Tarkenton and nor will Rogers be better than Favre.
