your missing the point. The goal of the quarterback is to run the offense and win. If you do it by running or passing what difference does it make? if he ran for 2000 yards and only threw for 1000 would you say he was not a good player? Drew Bress threw for 5000 yards, but they also didn't make the playoffs. What is the measurment of a good QB? Eli won, but does anyone really think he is a great player?

But all they did was run the ball. You can't be mad at him for the coordinator calling a whole bunch of running plays. You can't say it wasn't impressive because he threw 1000 less yards. What quarteback rushed for 1000 yards? Your ignoring an impressive stat and putting more credence on the other. Tim Tebow is not a great passer, but some are arguing he is the greatest college player of all time.

That could be said about a lot of players . . . you don't just player your division. Plus keep in mind that he beat Favre on Lambeu field n the playoffs. Wasn't that their first ever home loss in the playoffs?

Granted . . .you have a lot of good points. He did betray the team and his players. He also lied to the face of the owner and the NFL commisioner. I also see your point about people worshippng players. But the NFL does a better job than all other sports in focusing on the team rather than the players (But QB due tend to have more focus on them than other positions). He definetly deserves to go forward with his life, hopefully he is not dumb enough to lose out on his 2nd chance. I don't think he will ever be what he was on the field.

good stats, but your judging him solely on what he threw as a quarterback. You don't have anything for the year he rushed for 1000 yards. But I agree he is not a great player, but he was also not an average player.

I have been followin the story. Like just recently the judge refused to throw the accusations/ or the case out and said it can go to trial. Like I said, whether you believe it or not it is still a seriou accusation. Even if you look at Shawn Merriman chocking what's her name, there are bad crimes going on.

Marino and Kelly are both in the hall of fame and they never won anything . . . .Marino is known as one of the best QB's of all time. He put up a lot of stats, but never won anything. To say that a player was not good just because he never won a superbowl is a crazy argument by anyone. I'f I recall Jim Brown never won a Superbowl and some say he was one of the greatest ever.

He didn't betray anyone. People need to get off this kick that they feel Vick personal betrayed them. He had no personal ties to anyone but family and friends. All a parent needs to say to their kids is that he did a bad thing and got punished for it. Use him as an example of what can happen when you do bad things. This country is too into hero worship. Just because someone is a good player doesn't mean they're a good person. It's amazing how Big Ben is accused of raping a woman (whether you believe it or not) and hasn't gotten as much coverage.

Wait a minute . . . .Didn't P. Pierce say he was the best player in the league the year they won? I have never heard Lebron say he is the best player. He is usually pretty humble when it comes to being compared to the best or the greatest . . . .

By the way I am not a big Lebron fan . . . .but I am using him in NBA Live (he is a beast) . . . .

He single handely lost the game and the series? What in the blue hell are you talking about? Do you think that team would have won 30 games if it was not for Lebron? Didn't they have the best record in the league last year?

Regardless of what people say, one person does not win you a championship unless your name is Jordan. Even Jordan had an almost 20 pt a game scorer in Pippen. Lebron's team was outplayed by Orlando. The matchups were horrible and they never could adjust to it. To say he single handidly lost the game sounds like your a little bitter he beat your Drunk Leprechauns

What happened is a testement to what makes America great. The people didn't like something, they used their freedom of speech, and they got change. Isn't that what Rush likes to preach? I mean honestly he really didn't lose anything. He once again looks like a victim and get's to be more popular. What amazes me is that people so blindly follow a guy who sits all day and spits out opinion. Most of what he says is not based in fact, it is opinion. Yet millions follow his everyword . . .He is always talking about how people blindly follow "saint" Obama, but they're doing the exact same thing with him. He has never in his life done anything to benefited the country besides entertain. He has never fought in a war, never ran for office, never got anything passed. His goal is to make himself as much money as possible and he is a hero to millions . . .only in America.

He is a good player . . .he is a beast on NBA Live . . .but when you talk about the NBA's top players I don't anyone would put him in their top 20.
