it wouldnt be a necessary move but a move that could @ least make sense in the short term future. can someone tell me how sean payton n the last few camps has brought in, dahani jones, brian simmons, dan morgan 2xs, but doesnt wana take a chance on derrick brooks or greg ellis? i understand we have only 9 spots to fill but are special teamers really worth passing over a trusted leader in the lockerroom and on the field?

microfracture surgery requires one full years rehabilitation before the cartilage is 100 percent ready... hmmm deuce took only 8 months, in which most of it was spent draining fluids from pushing it to far to soon. i cant blame him for what he did last year, reggie was whinning, pierre was steadily showing more and more promise and payton wanted it to be his backs all along. ive met the man dolymus mcallister several times and every time he was a class act, and thats why he will always be my all time favorite saints player. i know he has at least 2 maybe 34 good years left in him and i still pray his dream(and most of ours) come true and he returns in week 5 with a flur de lis on the side of his golden helmet! dont be to damn proud sean give the man a 2nd chance! you gave it jason david, you gave it to bullocks, and even gave it to simenou. deuce derserves it damnit!

wow.... year 3 and hes already on his way down the depth chart. 3 things real quick. 1. Its all in the rehab. if he works hard enough to come back (which means kim spends her time in cali and reggie more time in bama) then maybe he has a shot at not only strengthening that knee but earning some repsect back. 2. pierre is the heir apparent we all know that but i pray sean negotiates with deuce again and keeps him on as insurance for all purpose. 3. reggie is a playmaker does anyone remember when peter king wrote up that story about him in si this year how he would scare us over a 100 tds in the span of his carrer? the man craves success like kim craves rappers and athletes. he will come back and contribute and be better after this. get to work reggie!
Posted Thursday May 08, 2008, About: Alexander to visit with Saints
Some of yall read my blog where I stated that talk was as cheap as washed up mvps. now ive read all these comments and everyone of yall is dead on with your own perspectives and I aree with most of the posts here. but being a Saints fan stranded in seattle for the past 2 years and seeing the demise of alexander first hand i have to say he still has no heart left to date. He got his fat contract and didnt perform up to standard in 06 either? and we all know how awful he was in 07 hell the hawks cut ties with him before hasselback, and i only say that cause matt has holmgrin in his ear 30 seconds before every play and he the only one of the two who run backwards for a living to start with.
the saints brought him in just primarily im willing to state as a resort to turn to early on in the season if he wasnt signed right away, we have depth and as one post stated above me, my god how many backs do we really need.
im still sticking with deuce comming back to all pro form this season, do people forget that he had double knee surgery and had them both enhanced through cartilage growing holes being placed in the knee? not to mention look at what my man drew brees had done that was simularback in 06? drews on the golf courses now whippin ass with a completely regrown rotator cuff.
he is our banger and one of our leaders in both the organization and the gulf coast community. and reggie will only benift from having deuce back to form as well as sean payton finaly putting him back split out in the open space or in the same backfield as karney and duece. plus pierre thomas is the heir apparent in 2 years to the banger spot if not now.
i believe shaun will be the next griffey story of returning to cincy and being mediocre, but even junior still made all star games.
