If the reds are willing to except that stupid trade, why wouldn't the dodgers jump in and offer Pierre for either of those 2 pitchers . The money should be pretty close and at least Pierre can hit for average , great top of the order speed, and good clubhouse guy which are three things Matthews is not.

its okay for players to demand their contracts to be renegotiated /opt out clauses when they perform well.but its not okay for owners to want to void contracts when the players underachieve and completely lets their selves go in the offseason.... that simply is a bunch of crap!!. in any line of work if you perform poorly you get written up or fired, what should make these clowns exempt from that ??? and to think boras felt the dodgers got themselves a deal when the contract was originally written up..
