this would be an incredible move one day. Ruud, in his prime could have made a case for best striker in the world. even with his age, this move would be huge! it would finally give RSL a consistent striker and they could push for a championship. RSL has no DP, so look for them to wait for Ruud.

Buffon is the best keeper in the world, and Cech close behind. Chelsea wont give up Cech. Even though he had an injury it doesnt affect him. He's way too young and WAY to talented to give up. Buffon would be the one to go, if one does. He's older, and that seems to be they way things go now. Get younger. Buffon's in his best days, and wont come out until he retires. Its hard to see either club giving up there keepers.

I would love to see him stay. Him and Micheal Crabtree are SO exciting to watch, but to see him in the pro's wouldn't be bad either. I have tremendous respects for him.

Whats the point of ripping Beckham. So LA didnt make the playoffs, but do you know why? Well one, they have a horrid defense giving up the most goals in the MLS this season and never marking their men and leaving their GK out to dry. Speaking of their GK, he had only 90 saves and let in 2 goals a match. Explain how thats Beckhams fault again? Last i saw they had the highest scoring offense in the MLS, Beckham was third on the team in goals behind, Donovan leading the MLS with 20, Eddie Buddle 3rd in the MLS with 15. Now thats pretty good company. Beckham was also 5th in the MLS with 10 assists. He did well, also keep in mind he's 33, he's not his young self able to score 20 goals a season like he used too, he has limits.

Otergod is very right. I see that this move can keep him in shape more, but come on, he's 35 and people were already questioning if he could play another season. It's not a bad move, they should just be cautious of it. If he gets hurt that is a very valuable piece, that they can't replace in the midfield.

Landon is blown up. No doubt he's a great player with good ball handling skills and great finishing skills , but he's only been able to prove it against American teams, which are not teams in the Bundesliga. If he were to make Bayern Munich he would not play. The talent if front of him is much better than him. Also don't ever bring him up in being in the same world as Messi, Kuyt, or anyone in the English Premier League because he would be lucky to make their teams practice squads, let alone being a star there.

Now see this is why the MLS never gets better. They don't keep the talent they have. The teams are too set on finding a older, more washed up player from Europe, that is ending his career in years to come and give him loads of money then growing a pair and offering a young extremely talented player the kind of money he deserves.
