I don't see how some of you are saying that Kelloggs wouldn't be a good fit for Tony Stewart. I see plain as day. If TS were to go to Hendrick's and they kept Kelloggs as a sponsor then it would be the Frosted Flakes #5 car. I mean come on, the current face of Frosted Flakes is Tony the Tiger and having Tony Stewart as their driver would fit. I'm just saying because I don't think all of you have seen what I have as a possibility.

If the lid was off then yes, I could see a possible weight advantage. However, from my guess it would only be about 5 pounds tops and would not cause that much of an advantage IMHO. I do see the safety concerns and agree that if a penalty has been handed out to others then Carl should get the same or possibly worse since it was totally missing.

I do have a question for the Dr. though. If the lid was missing/loose could it possibly be a performance advantage due to the oil being able to cool more easily? I am not too keen on gaining performance with stuff like this (as I am not a huge gear head, but still one none the less), but I do know that adding an oil cooler does help out in keeping the oil cooler. Could this possibly be an advantage or why Nascar considers it one? Just though I would throw that out there and see if the Dr. has some insight.

Speaking of having the wrong picture up on this post....did anyone notice on the Nascar Front Page of SI that they had this quote: "Looking to get a leg up on the field Sunday in Dover, Kurt Busch crashed" under a picture of Kyle Busch? Yes, I agree that that is a Busch getting a leg up, but it is Kyle and not Kurt.
