Cmon people.. if hes bringing the ball up the court, hes probably going to be guarded by a small forward.. he wont be chasing any point guards around.. Point forward is a better description, and its not anything new.. he did it numerous times last season.

odom was playing the 4 late last year, so i dont see why he cant be the 6th man off the bench.. he can fill the 3 or 4 spot which is pretty nice..
He can come in for bynum, gasol, or ariza whenever anyone gets tired/foul trouble/having a bad game.. I like the idea actually.

He plays well with the second unit.. it doesnt matter if he starts or not.. the team just needs quality minutes from him.

This is his last year on the lakers.. Bynum is going to be seeking a max contract.

Im an sc fan, and I think oklahoma will be in the NC game.. I dont know if SC can leapfrog a 1 loss sec team at the end.. which is unfortunate..

All i know is at the end of the season, there will be a lot of people screaming for a playoff or a +1..

Look at kobes stats in the finals 2000-02. not bad, id say.

in 01', he avg. 29.4 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 6.1 apg.. And youre telling me he just rode shaqs coattails?.. Shaq would not have won without kobe those 3 years, and kobe wouldnt have won without shaq.. simple as that.

If you swap kobe for pierce, the lakers wouldnt have gotten anywhere.. And the Celtics wouldve won 75 games.. Pierce has KG in his prime, and he was DPOY.. Id argue Garnett is the best player on the Celtics.. Who would you rather have?

Bottom Line: Pierce is great, but he has a better team.. Hes in no way more talented than kobe..

EB has a better chance to get to the finals in the leastern conference.. plain and simple.. hed be a low seed in the west with BD, but the east is only top heavy..

Philly has too much money invested in Dalembert, Miller, EB, and soon enough AI.. Good luck in the future. Boston is still better than you.

Actually, for the people who are doubting turiaf, I think hes a great defender.. Not the best rebounder.. but his post defense is good.. And he can block shots..

Hes a good finisher and can hit the outside jumper.. when you compare turiafs deal to Adonal Foyles back a couple years, Turiaf is a steal.
