It is frustrating with Gorzo at the moment, but I like that management is standing behind him, that kind of patience will pay off, and they have nothing to lose waiting for him to come around.

Good trade - good ridance to that half-hearted Colby dude, too bad we lost EC and the Esposito kid - I think Hossa will sign, who wouldn't want to play with the Pens right now? He should be the key to letting Sid and Geno keep their own lines, so Malkin can stay at center where he belongs (and dominates)....those two will be even better when they're trying to out-do the other line...This trade does remind one of Craig Patrick's old deal-making - but if we don't go deep into the playoffs, will be wishing Ray Shero was as concerned about going after big time defensemen as Patrick was.

Good trade - love that we got rid of Armstrong, not so much that we got rid of EC the Esposito kid...the thinking from Shero had to be that Hossa would sign, and if he does, great, cause it builds on keeping Sid and Geno on their own lines, letting Malkin stay at center where he belongs (and dominates).....if we don't go deep in the playoffs, we'll probably be lamenting defensive weaknesses, and Hossa signing will be a mute point. Still, it does remind one of Craig Patrick's old deal-making, now, don't it?
