I'd love to see him back in Detroit, but that isn't going to happen. Even with a trade, the Browns would take too big a cap hit for it to work for them. Rogers can be a beast, but unless he's motivated, he's only a 2 down a series player, and at times looks like a 3 quarter per game player. Upgrade for the Lions, but that isn't saying that much.

From everything I have been reading, the kid not only has a gun for an arm, but he also has a very quick release. This is what would allow him to make the move to starter early. If he picks up the offence quick enough and understands where his receivers will be, where his dump off receivers are, and how to pick up defensive movement his release will help him get rid of the ball before the DL gets to him.

Their line will be better this year with the new system in place. Personally, I'd like to see him sit out until Culpepper can't play or they get to the bye week. He is going to need to watch a game or two or eight from the sidelines to really get an ida of how much faster the NFL game is from college.
