Dude, no Ohio State or Michigan linebacking core could even be compared to Dan Connor. I mean 136 takles before the bowl game. Laurinitis is not going in the first roung in the draft. He'll go in like the 3or 4 round.

And Michigan is not going to regain its their powerhouse status cuz they lost Ryan Mallet and didn't get any good recruts.

Ohio State is becoming a Linebacker U quickly. I'm not going to go out and say we deserve the title from Penn State, but just a couple Buckeye 'backers:

Tom Cousineau
Chris Spielman
Mike Vrabel
Bobby Carpenter
A.J. Hawk
Andy Katzenmoyer
James Laurinaitis
Na'il Diggs
Anthony Schlegel
Matt Wilhem

Plus, Ohio State picked up commits for 2008 from both the #1 and #2 inside linebackers, Etienne Sabino and Andrew Sweat, both of whom have been making noise at spring practices according to sources. Again, not saying Ohio State is Linebacker U instead of Penn State, just saying OSU has a very strong linebacker tradition.
