Yeah then if you like young talent, get ready to watch a really great young talented pitching staff (starters & bulllpen) from the Mets! I promise! Once Harvey comes back you will have a rotation of Matt Harvey, Zack Wheeler, Dillon Gee, Jonathon Niese, Noah Syndergaard, Rafael Montero, Jacob deGrom, and as I said earlier, I can put at least 3 or 4 more that are in triple A & double A that are not too far away! HARD throwing guys out of the pen too! That is why they think the Mets will be able to trade for bats, due to such a high amount of great young arms, but after seeing what happened to Harvey, I am hoping they avoid trading the young arms as much as possible....pitchers are one pitch away from never pitching again!

Being a Met fan & being here in NY, I do recall them saying on the sports talk radio that they had to wait 2 weeks for the swelling to go down? That being said, I would have thought a decision would have come by now! I am of the opinion he should just get it done already! I hate to lose him for a year.....I was just crushed when I heard the news.....like someone literally hit me in the stomach with a bat! (oh no not again.....GOD it is tough to be a Met fan)

YEARS AWAY! Are you serious dude? Even without Harvey next year, they will at least be in the playoff race come September, mark my words! I fully expect them to be in the playoffs two years from now tops! If you are not a Met fan, and/or don't pay attention to the minor leagues, you have absolutely no idea just how many great arms are going to be coming up in the next year/two years for the Mets! Noah Syndergaar, Rafael Montero, Jacob deGrom, just to name 3! I can give you 5 more, IF you really want to know! Add the plethora amount of money the team will have to spend on free agents and trades they can make due to the surplus of pitching, and the NY Mets will be a team to watch for in the next year/two years! Without Harvey, it will be tougher, trust me, but they CERTAINLY ARE NOT YEARS AWAY!

He didn't meddle when Parcells was the coach? I think this whole JJ meddles always thing is such poop! It is something that he did way back, and has since moved past! He will gladly give a coach as good as Cowher room to breathe, and I am sure they get along great!

He didn't get in the way when Parcells was the coach! Why do people have this idea that JJ meddles all the time! I think that is such a ignorant rumor!
