Posted Monday April 01, 2013, About: Why Browns will stick with Brandon Weeden
So much for a legit QB competition. The Browns have made some progress in FA, but they could have done better. Without a 2nd round pick they are hamstrung with their options. Teams that may want to trade up to the 6th pick will have the Browns at their mercy because they know Cleveland is in need of picks. It will be another "lets see next year" year for Browns fans.

I am in no way a Pats fan, but who cares. If there is a side deal, or a hand shake that says that we will copmpensate you after you retire who cares. The fact of the matter is he took less and it helps the team and the fact that his wife can support him and more than half the team with what she makes makes things a bit easier as well.

Isn't Florio the clown that said Chip Kelley to the Browns was a "done deal"?
Posted Tuesday February 05, 2013, About: Frank Gore: Ravens still aren't as good as us
I am by no means a Ravens fan being a Browns fan, but the fact of the matter Mr. Gore is that the Ravens won the game. You can make all the excuses that you want, we all know what excuses are like, everyone has one of those too.

Looks like a trade with Cleveland might work, they are going to a 3-4.
Posted Thursday January 24, 2013, About: Chudzinski puts Weeden on shaky ground
For someone who does not care about the Browns or Cleveland, you sure expend enough energy reading and writing about something you do not care about.
Posted Thursday January 24, 2013, About: Chudzinski puts Weeden on shaky ground
The only person that would get a favorable trade between the Browns and Pats would be the Pats. Look at Belichick's trade record, the Pats ALWAYS come out on top because they trade with teams with a need that the Pats have.

Alex Smith doesn't have the long arm, yes he worked with Turner before, but I hope if Cleveland wants him, they wait till SF cuts him, do not over pay in a trade. There is no way the SF keeps him at 8 mil a year to be a backup. Only way he stays inSF is if he restructures his contract.
Posted Tuesday January 22, 2013, About: Jim Nantz attacks Cleveland media for Lombardi criticism
Truth hurts. Lombardi deserves everything he gets. Lombardi is a buffoon, ignorant, no talent four time losing hack. He has not been working for an NFL team for 5 years for a reason, HE CAN NOT EVALUATE TALENT! His latest and greatest evaluation was on the Browns, when he said we wasted a second round pick on Josh Gordon. He was the one who wanted Lane Kiffin as head coach, he was the one that was banned from Raider practices by the head coach because he publicly criticized the team that he put together, but laid ALL the blame on the HC (Art Shell). I won't even go into the draft picks made by him with his first stint with the Browns. Yeah another good job by the Browns, new owner, same stupid !@$ mistakes. We are headed nowhere with that hack kissing Banners backside!
Posted Friday January 18, 2013, About: Browns hire Norv Turner as offensive coordinator
Oh wonderful. One step forward, ten steps back. Norv is a good hire, but Lombardi?! Lombardi is a buffoon, ignorant, no talent four time losing hack. His latest and greatest evaluation was on the Browns, when he said we wasted a second round pick on Josh Gordon. Posted Saturday January 12, 2013, About: Chudzinski wouldn't miss this for the world
I was a bit wary at first, but the more I read and heard the better I like the hire. Jimmy and Joe did not rush or panic, they went out did what they said they were going to do, get the HC they felt was best for the team and city. Chud has the passion for both the team and city, he has the young enthusiastic attitude they were looking for. He has the NFL petigree and a great offensive mind. We will see about the leadership skills as things move along.

The thing I like best is how he adjusts his scheme to the talent not visa versa. He improved that diva Newton and kept Steve Smith pretty happy, not an easy thing dealing with those two personalities. Norv would be a good OC and I hope that Jauron is kept but fear he is gone. I hope they stay with the 4-3 because our personnel that we have been collecting the last few years are for a 4-3 not 3-4. That would add unecessary stress trying to convert back to and also waste some of the good young talent that we have aquired on defense. So here is to a new hope, I do think it is better than the last 4.
Posted Saturday January 12, 2013, About: Carolina eyeing new OC
NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Carolina is my NFC team, Shurmur is an idiot, if Cleveland dumps you, you know you have hit bottom.
Posted Saturday January 12, 2013, About: Report: Dick Jauron unlikely to return to Browns
keep him! The defense has been coming alog nicely under Jauron. He only needs a couple more pieces and they are set. To go back to a 3-4 would waste the talent brought aboard and increase the need for new players to fit the scheme and take that money and or picks away from where we need.
Posted Friday January 11, 2013, About: Browns landing Norv with a 'Chud'?
Are you flipping kidding me! Chud! His offenses go down after the first year wherever he goes. I guarentee that this is just another folly in a now long line of them called Cleveland Browns football. Carolina is rejoicing tonight. Thanks Mr Banner and Haslam for keeping alive our misery. Smith, Wisenhunt, Arians, naw not them, Chud. Way to go Browns, just what we needed someone elses cast off, at least Wisenhunt went to the superbowl, what has Chud done, been fired by us twice already, I guess the third time will be a charm.
Posted Friday January 11, 2013, About: Browns landing Norv with a 'Chud'?
It is EXTREMELY hard!
Posted Wednesday January 09, 2013, About: Browns interviewing Arians, Trestman for head coach
I would be quite happy with that, but I do not see Wisenhunt going back to the OC position. I think he will get an HC job before it is all said and done, but again, I would love to see it.
Posted Tuesday January 08, 2013, About: Browns interviewing Arians, Trestman for head coach
So Luck made Harbaugh and Shaw as well? Arains kept a young team together with a dark cloud hanging over the team and taught them how to win. It seems that Arians made Rothlesberger as he and the Pittsburgh offense was a shell of what it was when Arians was running it. As far as Trestman goes I do not know much about him. I would like them to revisit Horton and talk to Lovie as well.
Posted Tuesday January 08, 2013, About: O'Brien denies raise, changes at Penn State
I would almost bet that Pro teams were offering at least twice what he would/will make at PSU. Is it that unfathomable that someone could have some integrity and want to stay for reasons other than money. His job is going to get more difficult starting next year when the scholorships disappear. It is refreshig to see someone stick with something for once, PSU is not Alabama, ANY pro head coaching job would hold more prestiege and money than most college jobs. Try to see the good in a story once in awhile instead of all the rotten news we are fed on a daily basis.

What was their record the following years, they continued to decline till he was fired.
Posted Tuesday January 08, 2013, About: Rob Parker: ESPN knew about "cornball" statement
Well, if the first comments did not get him fired, then throwing your boss under the bus is not the way to try and keep ones job. Calling him a moron would be insulting morons. Parker is everything wrong with the "press" these days, no integrity, no honor, just out to be shocking and edgey. Too bad we as a society encourage it.
