I'm not surprised by the Pacers. Even tho they only won one in their 1st round loss to Bulls last year, they played well, stayed competitive in 3 of their losses, and were fun to watch. I enjoyed the 2011 playoffs mainly because of how well the "other" teams played - Pacers, Portland, Memphis, Atlanta, and of course OKC. If my Lakers don't go past the second round (as I expect), I hope one of these wins (well, not Portland...). Really, wouldn't an Indiana-Memphis finals be a blast, a real changing of the guard? Never happen, of course... I'd settle for Durant vs Rose.
Totally agree. Dwight has the star power smile of Magic and Shaq. He was born for LA. Bynum, meanwhile, is not only a middle of the pack talent and the owner of unreliable knees, he also owns the ugliest foul of the Playoffs. Get him gone. Please.
Meanwhile we have an aging Kobe, an unreliable Pau, an it's-time-already Fisher, and the eternal head scratcher named Artest. Lakers need to transition by bringing in the next franchise player during Kobe's decline. Whether Dwight or Paul or preferably both, be willing to move any and all of the rest.
