VERY likely.
Posted Tuesday April 30, 2013, About: No. 1 pick already a lock?
First, Succo gets shown the door then the Avs get the # 1 pick. Those are the franchise's two biggest wins in years. Now go for the trifecta and clean out the front office!!

Would anyone who really cares what ryan thinks please raise his/her hand? Anyone... anyone... ??

That's actually a pretty good nickname for the way they've been playing.

Yeah, got it in! Thanks for the reminder. Haven't visited the golf threads in a long time.

Late to the party, but give me Keegan Bradley

In your wildest dreams.
Posted Tuesday April 09, 2013, About: Jiggy rips Avs (and their 'Vegas trips') in tirade
Nah, Sucko is safe. Management will trade Jiggy for being a "disruptive influence", completely ignoring the irony that management has been a disruptive influence for 6 years. The only problem here is that he didn't go off back in February.
Posted Monday March 04, 2013, About: Why National League may have to adopt DH soon
I don't like the DH, but I was thinking an interesting compromise would be to do away with the DH and allow each team a *one-time* pinch-hit for the pitcher without the pitcher having to come out of the game. For those who like strategy, imagine a manager debating whether to use his one-timer in the 3rd inning with bases loaded or saving it for later in the game.... To further enhance the strategy, the managers would not have to designate that one-timer in advance, so you then have the OTHER manager figuring out whether or not to pull his pitcher from facing the hitter.... I think the strategy options are intriguing...

The Irrelevant Conference, Apathetic Division and Pathetic Division.
Posted Friday February 15, 2013, About: O'Reilly's dad chirps Avs on Twitter
Touche'. Actually, the Avs are major league talent with little league management. The Avs' CHL affiliate, the Denver Cutthroats, could arguably boast better management. The Avalanche franchise right now is a front office disaster.
Posted Friday February 15, 2013, About: O'Reilly's dad chirps Avs on Twitter
Sad to say, the O'Reilly saga is the only reason anyone is paying any attention at all to the Avs these days. I'm spending my money on the minor league team in town this season, and that's coming from someone who has been a life-long (50+ years...) hockey fan....
Posted Monday February 04, 2013, About: Hejduk set to enter select NHL company
Hejduk's always been a class act on and off the ice. Previous posters are correct -- there aren't many more like him these days. Very underrated, very under-appreciated. Congrats, Hejie.
Posted Friday February 01, 2013, About: Avs, Ryan O'Reilly still disputing contract
Yet more evidence of the idiocy that permeates the Avs' front office...
Posted Thursday January 31, 2013, About: From top to bottom, Avs in denial
Because the front office management tells them and the fans they are, so they don't need to spend any additional money.
Posted Thursday January 31, 2013, About: From top to bottom, Avs in denial
When your front office doesn't know anything about putting a good product on the ice and the coach knows even less, it's easy to see why Avs fans have little to be enthused about. There is talent on the team. What's needed is a major overhaul from the coaching staff on UP.
Posted Wednesday January 30, 2013, About: Ray Lewis: PED claim is the 'trick of the devil'
Now that lewis is retiring, the people who made money off him won't have any reason to stay quiet any longer; they'll want to start making their money off notoriety before he hangs up the cleats. And despite his obvious football talent, lewis has a, shall we say, rather "checkered" personal history and no one should be surprised if these allegations are true. lewis may find himself taking Lance Armstrong's place Oprah's couch.

Posted Friday January 25, 2013, About: Elway: Tebow could thrive if ...
Elway's talking out his behind. What better situation could there have been for Tebow than to remain in Denver in a back-up role, and learn the Art of Quarterbacking from two of the best EVER -- Manning and Elway. You think there weren't plenty of times in the playoff loss this season that having Tebow in the backfield would have picked up a crucial first down?
