Ownership gets most of the blame, no doubt, but it's time that the fans shoulder some of the criticism for letting management get away with it. As long as the fans keep drinking the purple kool-aid and putting 30,000+ butts in the seats every game, no matter how badly the team is doing, owners are going to keep putting a poor product on the field. Until the fans start staying away from Coors Field, nothing is going to change. I'm only one baseball fan, but I've started showing my displeasure by closing the wallet. And if anyone really thinks this team won't be 15 games out of first by late May, I want some of what YOU'RE drinking. And the sad thing is, the prime of Tulo's and Cargo's careers is being wasted.

Jeebus, lighten up. It was just a joke. ND scheduling patsies was a running joke in CFB for years. They have improved their scheduling significantly over the last few seasons (not counting my AF Falcons last year...lol).
Posted Tuesday March 18, 2014, About: Baylor adds Incarnate Word to football schedule
I may have misunderstood, but isn't strength of schedule becoming even more important to playoff selection now?
Posted Tuesday March 18, 2014, About: Baylor adds Incarnate Word to football schedule
All the jokes about powerhouses scheduling "Little Sisters of the Poor" now won't seem quite so funny. And on a related note, Notre Dame is jealous that they didn't beat Baylor to this one.
Posted Tuesday March 18, 2014, About: Tournament's biggest snub
How do you figure I argued against myself? I stated simply that a team with a .500 or worse record and just happened to get hot for 3 games should not take a spot away from a team that played well all year, has the record to back it up and just happened to lose in the conference tournament. Following your argument, the dance should be conference tournament winners ONLY and the regular season performances shouldn't matter. Would you feel the same way if your Gators had lost to Kentucky last weekend?

And to answer your other question, there are two .500 or worse teams in this year. Mt St Mary's is 16-16 and Cal Poly is 13-19. Google is your friend.

Understood. But if you can't win at least ONE MORE game than you lost, you don't get in. Nothing sucks more than a 8-22 team getting hot for 3 games to win a tournament and getting a bid at the expense of a 23-9 team, regardless of the 23-9 team's SOS.

If you win a tournament but your record isn't BETTER than .500, off to the NIT as your reward.

And so they couldn't even be considered for a play-in game instead of a 16-16 team that no one who lives more than a mile from the campus has never even heard of?

Some pimps are likeable characters.
Posted Thursday March 13, 2014, About: Decker spotted on flight from Denver to Newark
Wonder how Decker will fare with a 3rd-rate QB trying to get him the rock instead of PFM? Odds are jets fans will be whining about this signing about 4 games in....
Posted Wednesday February 26, 2014, About: NBA discussed a 4-pointer and a new court
So would the 4-pointer come from the area created by the bigger court? Great... just what we need is a bunch of no-talents chucking bricks from 32 feet instead of 25.

When I first saw this, I laughed. Never would I have predicted a rout, either way. Nice prediction!!!!
Posted Thursday January 30, 2014, About: Sherman daring Manning to throw his way
If Manning lights him up for a couple of TD's and the Broncos win, will Sherman come out and admit Manning got the best of him? I doubt it....
