These are the same people who named a new park after Charles Comiskey, one of baseball's all-time worst owners. Who had had no relationship to the team for decades.

More Chicago stupidity... the parks were named for egotistical former owners. Comiskey is the more reprehensible, he was a total jerk. Let go of the past, it really wasn't all that great. Wrigley should be renamed Lysol Stadium, it might help with the smell in the "facilities".

This "evidence" is garbage, and shows more that McNamee is a dirtbag. So much for the "relationships" he claimed to have with his clients, he is a fraud. And why wasn't this information disclosed to the Mitchell Committee? So much for honesty there. Clemens' lawyers will successfully argue that the syringes could have been used for something else and then tainted either with Clemens' blood or take a Clemens used needle and taint it with steroids. This will be laughed out of a court of law. Pathetic, lower than Clemens himself.

What's his contract status? You cut a player when there's an upcoming bonus; it makes it impossible to trade for value in that case; it makes it a waste of money to pay him and trade him. You won't get much for him anyway (maybe a 6th round pick?) so why bother.

The Philly team is doomed to be considered a minor league operation. The stadium is almost in Wilmington. People from the city won't travel 20 miles down I-95 for this. The road is congested enough already. The team will fall somewhere behind the Kixx, Wings, and Phantoms for fan indifference.
