Favre played today in practice---nothing heavy. What is super sweet is good old Sidney Rice was on the sidelines, slowly jogging and catching passes. I drive by Winter Park on my lunch break fairly often as I'm on Viking Drive. Dude was on crutches less than 7 days ago...pretty neat to see Rice jogging, albeit slowly. I wonder if their PR dept is glad Rice is on the cover of their season schedule...or regretting it. I think both he and Peterson would have been an excellent choice--we know why they left #4 off...no one knew if he'd show up or not. So psyched for Sunday, bring it Vikes!

Anyone have a guess as to Rice's remaining recovery time?

BTW....total side note: 4 days before the "s*xting scandal" broke loose in the news I ordered my personalized Halloween costume online (Viking purple in color of course!)---I'm going as Favre's personal nursing home attendant/nurse. So now I am stuck with a pricey getup during a heckuva media storm...I think most will find it funny when they look inside my "Nurse's Kit"...in addition to some very creative items, I'm including Icy Hot, Ace bandages, and Tucks :) Who knew...!
