You're probably right. Maybe mine is just wishful thinking...

I took Petti in the "value" slot a couple of years ago, and he helped win me a 2010 trophy. So, can't argue with that.

Finley was coming off of an injury last year - this is the year to get the value out of him. And again, I strictly mean that as a "value" pick...as others (like yourself) will be scared off of him, this season, and I just see his draft position/return investment as being very (very) good...

Finley's a money pick this year. Chances are, for where you'll get him (in most drafts), his value won't be matched.

How cool would it be to see those two styles, push and pull against each other, on a Sunday afternoon?

I won't call a winner...but after the initial match-up, I really think it would come down to environment.

Any kind of weather, and the Steelers probably slog it out...put it in a dome (and yes, I realize that the 9ers played outdoors, on grass) and Montana finds a way to win it.

Would be awesome to watch. (Okay, i'm done daydreaming...moving on.)

LOL- MF

As much as you hate to say it... I hate to agree with you.

Absolutely.

I am having a really hard time with this whole situation. Guess we'll see, as more is revealed.

Tyson was all-universe...for a flash...and then, he decided nobody else could beat him, so he would beat the s#!t out of himself.

I still wish that I could have seen "Lewis/Tyson" w/both fighters at (or closer to) their peaks.

I was just thinking that as I watched a semi-retrospective/business bio of him the other day on MSNBC. He seemed so OLD at the time. Must have been the bald head (Before it was cool...It is cool...right?).

Say one thing about old George, though...it's pretty impressive that he can now claim the title of the "richest" heavyweight of all time.

Can't really put it any better than that.

And a little (actually, kind of a big @ 6-4 215) sleeper named Andre Holmes.

Say what you want too about the (cough, cough) GM, this team (the rest of the staff) has had a knack for picking through the dregs of undrafted guys, in recent years.

All three from the east get in...
I'd take that Pitt team @ comment #63...all day long.
A classic case of...the team WILL be better, but their record probably will not.

But hey, at least they get Tampa twice.
Funny. I didn't even think about my description fitting Flacco, and you too make a good point.

However, I meant Vick all the way. As said in the TD, he either is, or he isn't, and he'll never have a better team around him to prove it, than he does right now.

(Good TD BTW)
Hmmm, whose team is loaded...is supposedly a "supreme" talent, has top-flight receivers, a top 5 back, a rival that is starting to stockpile trophies, and a HC whose buns are on fire at the end of the year if he can't find a way to make said team (finally) into champions?

Is there really any other answer to this question?
The dark days are almost over, time to come out of hibernation!

I trust (hope) all is well, MF?
Under the most pressure this year?

If it ain't Romo...it's his rival in green.

Rivers still has a few years left on his leash.

Living close to Denver area...I personally have to start leaning towards his reads. Not always bad, just always at the worst possible time. I don't want to hate on Cutler (even if I don't care for him), but after some time (as the immortal, Big Poppa Parcells, was often fond of pointing out), it is...what it is, right?

He hasn't always had a completely incompetent #1. (Though your summary on Roy, is spot on.)

I don't think that o-line is going to win any awards...but the question is valid.

I heard someone today mention that Cutler, is the new Jeff George. Honestly, nothing I've ever seen from him has ever shown me any different. Big arm, but sometimes his reads are just atrocious.

Sure, the O-line situation doesn't help...but I'm sure David Carr would tell just about anybody who will listen, the exact same thing. Nobody ever blames the offensive line, for a QB being a first round bust. Cutler's not quite "bust" material - yet - but if he keeps getting hammered, he sure may wilt into one, very quickly.

That's just one of those itches that you'll never be able to scratch.

Is the O-line play terrible? Sure. But being a fan of a Michael Vick lead team, means that worry is always lingering in the background.
