The amount of wrs who get in 1st ballot is 5 to the 21. With a log jam of talent like Brown, Reed, Carter, and other explosive wrs like Bruce and Harrison quickly becoming elgible will further complicate the logjam.

I picture T.O. probably having to wait 2-4 yrs depending on how many other superstars are 1st elgible that year.

Not only has T.O always played at a high level he hasnt declined much with age including his season on the bills because that was a result of qb play. Many great wrs like Harrison and Bruce who TO has or will surpassed fell off a lot more on the end, making T.O. deserve much more credit.

Their denial is just silly. It's time to start playing for next year. The O-line has been improving they have talent at skill positions. Time for the Niners to start scouting qbs if they want to turn the franchise around.

A big concern I have is that more of our talented players might do the michael lewis thing and demand to be cut/traded. Our managment and ownership showed no backbone in letting him, I don't care how much potential Mays has shown.

Personally I feel Nate Davis earned the #2 role during preseason, but we're still clinging on to our bust from 6 yrs ago. Now that were pretty close to playing for next year I wouldnt mind seeing him getting signed off our practice squad and given a chance to start a few games. Obviously Carr isnt the answer

Hopefully we finally ax Smith enough is enough. Most teams would have cut him after 4 yrs. Most of his success is at the end of the games when opposing d's take their foot off the pedal and go into prevent mode. Then each week he has small little of glimmer of hope that persuades the coach/gm to give him one more week.

I do think QB should be our top priority in this draft.
