Granted not our squad going to South Africa but that was a terrible way to end 2009.
What begs the question...how is this a rumor floating around MLS Cup?
I thought it was a done deal with this friendly? More genius workings of USSF I guess.
However...not sure Rafa should be fired. All big clubs go through stretches like this. Now LFC / Rafa can focus on hitting their stride and make the move back up the table.
Kopper - is Rafa in sole control of signing players? Maybe LFC needs a Director of Football...if Rafa has all control, maybe time for him to give up some of that power and have someone help with squad improvements because he dropped the ball on finding a good replacement for Torres when inevitably, Torres was going to go down with an injury.
By the end of the 2010 season, my guess is Jeff Cunningham is in Philly.
A little disappointed Preki took the TFC job...was hoping he'd go to Chicago.
And because I can't resist...that was the game Freddy Adu played Royston Drenthe off the field.
Judge Smails: Do you mind, sir. I'm trying to tee off.
Al Czervik: I'll bet you a hundred bucks you slice it into the woods.
Judge Smails: Gambling is illegal at Bushwood sir, and I never slice.
[Swings club, slices ball into woods]
Judge Smails: *Damn*.
Al Czervik: OK, you can owe me.
Judge Smails: I owe you nothing.
Judge Smails: Spaulding, get dressed you're playing golf.
Spalding Smails: No I'm not grandpa I'm playing tennis.
Judge Smails: You're playing golf and you're going to like it.
Spalding Smails: What about my asthma?
Judge Smails: I'll give you asthma.
Philly fans will do that roughly 3 games into the season.
I was going to say maybe the first half of game 1 but I figured they would give the Union the benefit of the doubt being an expansion team and all.
Tell me how England deserves a seeding? Ugh. It is a huge sore spot for me because it is a joke that UEFA get the majority of the seeds.
If FIFA wanted to see a real competitive World Cup - change it so each confederation winner gets a seed. And for those with a ton of groups - the ultimate winner gets it. It's not a perfect solution but better than UEFA consistently getting 5 of the 8 seeds.
"Henry is worse than Stalin" - WOW...hilarious.
That has to relate back to real life right? LOL.
Selfishly, I'd like him to stay in MLS and become one of the new faces of the league.
