And don't worry about this place being dead. Hopefully the return of the resident flip-flopper will spice things up a bit, at least from a sports perspective.
As for all the glitches, well, they need a legit sys admin for that.
And if you don't want to put them at #2, then put them at #3. There is no way New England should be ahead of them. New England lost to Buffalo, who lost to Cincy.
Well, I came back today, so this is the first I heard of CowboyDave's passing. I never really talked to him one-on-one but I would see his comments and engage in discussion where I could. There is a huge void in FN now, as he was one of the greatest.
Being from Jersey originally, it is obvious why I like the last two. I was accused of being a bandwagoner witht eh Cowboys and not being a true fan of them. However, when I first started enjoying Cowboys games, I was about 8 or 9 years old (which was the year of Super Bowl XXVIII in which Dallas beat Buffalo).
I had alot of family members that were Cowboys fans, so when I would be at the houses of those family members, I ended up watching Cowboys games, and became a fan too. Ok, yes, I did start rooting for them when they were really good. But I havent stopped rooting for them even when they are really bad, and that includes now.
Yet people still venture to question my loyalty and accuse me of being a bandwagoner. When actually, I am not. I actually suffer more as a fan (I'm a Nets fan, enough said here) than the normal person, unless that person is a Cleveland homer.
And prior to the Yankees championship in 2009, the overall decade of the 2000s was rough. Three straight 5-11 seasons for the Cowboys, Yankees getting bounced from the playoffs in the first round every year (plus their collapse in the 2004 ALCS), and watching the Nets go from mediocrity to the cream of the NBA crop and back to mediocrity.
So I get very mad when I am accused of being a bandwagoner. Yes, 2 of my teams have a rich history, but I dont root for them because of their history, and when I became a fan, I couldnt give two shhhhiiiits about their history.
Your friend that says that 10-6 is not stellar knows nothing and is stupid. 10-6 is a winning percentage of .625, which is actually considered very good. If you compare with other sports:
In baseball, the closest to .625 is a 100-62 record. (More accuarately, it's 100-60 but they dont play 160 games.) In basketball it's 50-32. (same thing here. Actually, a record of 50-30 is .625 win pct, but they dont play 80 games)
Their only win was out of conference, and San Fran, Cleveland, and Detroit have more wins than Dallas...Carolina's win was in conference, so that makes Dallas a higher pick by virtue of the tiebreaker.
The only team worse than Dallas is Buffalo, and who knows how much longer that will last?

I have no arguments with anything else.
Now it's time to resume voting right in DJ's TD.
Actually, left presented better arguments.
No other team can claim they play in a woman's chest.
I can even start a campaign for it. My slogan:
"Take a flying eff at a rolling donut, you dumptrucks!!"
I feel honored to have been nominated for Most Improved TDer
And yes, I did vote myself DBag of the year. Twice. :)
Dallas Cowboys
New Jersey Nets
New York Yankees

To me, that seems stellar.
