Rocker also said that Bud Selig was totally aware of his steroid use. Which collaborates my contention that MLB was fine with steroids as long as the long ball was drawing in the big money, same as Vince McMahon and WWF.
If it turns out that Selig was in bed with the athletes on steroid use and only turned against them in response to outside pressure, the scandal will be as big as Watergate.

It certainly would benefit Belicheck to know exactly what plays his opposition teams were going to run, from a standpoint of directing his offense. This practice of taping opponents' training session may not be strictly illegal, but it is poor sportsmanship. What's next, planting listening devises? Hiring hookers to distract opposing players? No wonder the NFL burned the tapes, because it throws the whole process into question. Belicheck deserves his asterisk at least as much as Barry Bonds. It's totally appropriate that congress should want to shed as much light on the process as possible so that fans can know what they are spending their money to watch.

First of all, McNamee accuses Clemens, Clemens denies it and McNamee threatens to sue Clemens. What's wrong with this picture? As I write this I am waiting for 60 Minutes to start, but the way I see it Clemens is totally innocent until proven guilty regardless of what McNamee and that other cretin accuse him of.

I think if A-Rod stiffed Boras out of his commission, the court would at least uphold part of it because of Boras' gross mishandling of the whole process. If it was me, I would definitely stiff Boras. A-Rod's new contract lasts 10 years and he doesn't need a stupid agent any more.

i am very hot that the Ironmen are now playing in the new Prudential Center in Newark. there are a lot of rabid brazilian and portuguese soccer fans in newark. you can't believe the wild parties that take place on newark's ferry street, which is the brazilian neighborhood (incidentally called the Ironbound district). i anticipate a fantastic soccer atmosphere with flags flying and beating drums at the games. go Ironmen!
the only problem is, what is going to happen in the summer, when it is beautiful outside. nobody is going to want to see a game inside. i thought they were building a new stadium in neighboring harrison. they'll probably play in harrison in the summer and newark in the winter. anyway, this should really be great for all the millions of soccer fans in the new york area.

good person/bad person, those terms are meaningless. the guy is unfortunately a torturer and murderer of innocent animals, and he deserves to be locked up for a long time with a bible to repent his sins. we can't judge another person, that is only for God. we can only protect ourselves and society by putting them somewhere where they can't harm themselves and other living things.
as for smoking pot, that is not a crime against humanity. they keep finding beneficial effects from marijuana, and still there is a moralistic prohibition against it, driven by intolerant people for political purposes. diabetic people who can't take a drink should have access to a little bit of reefer so that they can have a few laughs on saturday night too.
