Those numbers you are talking about are REALLY SMALL in the overall picture... Of course their are alumni spread around the country, so to keep maybe a few tens of thousands of alumni in California happy, everyone else in that state that could care less about the Longhorn network are going to be happy paying for it when they aren't ever going to watch....
My God, you mean there are really alumni who leave Texas...how on Earth could they be happy living anywhere else? DUH m azzzzzzzzz
Not ESPN's call to make....only the powers that be at Disney can make that call....
Should Disney (and thus ESPN) try to pull that, I hope the cable and satellite providers call their bluff....ESPN already has too many billions tied up in live programming contracts (NFL Monday nite Football, various college football conference contracts, Major League Baseball) that they could in no way affort to not be tied in with cable and satellite...
Does anybody really believe that people in the Northeast, MidWest or West Coast give a damn about being able to watch the Longhorn Network...You're a fool if you do....West Coast doesn't care about watching Pac 12 football, so why would they want the Longhorn Network? Not many people outside of Texas really want it.
True Dat...but I wonder if EWO and some other Nole fanes still think that Bowden got a raw deal and should have been allowed to leave on his own terms...
and what was with Ohio State's total of 35 yards passing (only 13 going into the final minute)....do all the Buckeye fans still believe they aren't going to miss Terrell Pryor?
You're kidding, right?
Call back when the guy at least makes the college football HOF.
