Maybe some of the teams should just leave the NHL and form a new league ( if its legally possible). This is getting to the point of being absurd and even if there is a deal, they will probably do it again in five years. Who knows, I did enjoy the Hershey-Norfolk AHL game last night on tv.

The reason Maryland is going broke is because they are not running their athletic programs right. They are going to have the same problem in the Big-10, once the extra money is used up. Maryland chose the cheap, quick money over tradition because they stink at managing their programs. They still are going to have a half-empty football stadium and replace Duke and UNC in basketball with Ohio St and Michigan St. IMO a mistake on their part.

Agree, it depends on if Wright believes the Mets are going to be serious about putting together a decent team for the future. If the management hems and haws at it, he may go somewhere else. I am a Mets fan and hope he stays but would understand if he goes somewhere else if the owners become like the Royals, Pirates, etc....and do just enough to get by everyt year.

His act is starting to wear thin now. It was funny and intriguing last year but not so much this year. Until his team can find ways to stop Brady or Manning on a consistant basis, then his words ring hollow.
