If Crawford actually said something about playing in Calif.
You can be sure it was just a retort to BoSox for spying on Him last season
But what did he expect , They he be offered big bucks just for his ability on the field
TeAM ARE LEARING SLOWLY BUT SURELY if you sign a drunk like Detroit did , without checking, it will come back to haunt you in the end. Team will learn that the good ol buddy drinking pals and carousing late at night is not the lifestyle you want to invest 140 million or so.
While I think it great the BoSox looked into their investment long before they made a commitment. but who ever leaked that news should be fired as he isn't loyal to his club.
but most likely it was an invertint slip of the tongue.
