Mark Anthony DiBello's Comments

Posted Monday February 10, 2014, About: Sam's teammates had known 'for years'
NOTE: I had posted this article on twice on my sports blog http://www.fannation.com/blogs/show/1668214 but they twice censored it and deleted it...so much for free speech and God.

I could write at great length and wisdom on the subject of being gay or being a gay athlete; but I will limit the godly thoughts I am sharing. I write not from my own perspective but from God Almighty's. Thankfully, I pray and believe my thoughts agree with His thoughts.

OK. How many of you readers already are saying, "OK, he wrote 'God'; so he must be against players being gay." That's your conscience speaking to you; and "conscience" is one way God communicates to man. Yes, God has a lot to say about being gay. But simply put: it is an evil sin and unrighteous to be gay and more of a damnation to be proud of it!

To begin, God, The Creator, did not create man (or women) to be gay. It is not a sin which should be embraced and accepted--it should be corrected and rejected.

There is no place in creation for a gay person; certainly not in a locker room.

I am sick of this sickness being accepted as normal. I hear words like "courage" being used in the case of athletes "coming out." What would be courageous is if a player or person came out and said, "I am gay, I am a sinner, please help and save me from my sin and myself." To be proud of being gay is to say, "I am proud to live in sin." I am too proud to agree with God...that's as devilish as it gets!

Perhaps you have heard the expression, "God loves the sinner, He hates the sin." Yes, The Lord does love sinners; but He loves sinners who believe in Him and believe that His love is so perfect; that He knows being gay is being an adulterer and adulterers will NOT meet The Creator in the end, in a place called Heaven.

God bless and forgive all who are adulterers and live in sin; be it the unwed who have sexual relations out of wedlock; or the gay man or woman who is "proud" to be such; or the media member or supporters of "gay rights"; all of whom not only embrace evil, but ultimately reject The Lord God.

God is holy and perfect. He creates and He loves. He lives and forgives. God bless and forgive all whom are sinners. I am not gay, but God knows, I too am a sinner.

Peace
