I was completely ready to go off on Cable until I read this, and this really is the truth. If he does get fired it should be for his crappy offensive play calling where in this passing scheme even Joe Montana would've looked bad. The 20 ago year ex-wife incident isn't excusable but it is also in the past and hopefully he learned from it. The ex girlfriend barging into his home, he had a right to forcibly remove her, we can't be that much of a pansy society that you can't remove trouble from your own house. The other coach ordeal, well this is a violent sport and uncharacteristically of how they have been playing as a team, you want to see passion and emotion, but in the ???alleged??? punch fiasco he should've shown more restraint or hit him hard enough so that he couldn???t remember what happened.

Funny how much people hate him yet embrace the likes of Ray Lewis. I would think being involved in killing of humans would be more frowned upon than killing of dogs. I have a dog and loves dogs as much as the next person, but all the rapist, murders and other violent offenders we look past their flaws when they help your team win. Leonard Little is another example, killed somebody while driving drunk, what happens he gets another DUI a few years later all the while continueing his NFL career with no where near as much critisim as Vick. Put it in perspective people.

Russell doesn't make too many mistakes other than not getting rid of the ball soon enough. He doesn't make bad throws just doesn't have recievers getting open soon enough. Look at his TD to INT, they weren't bad just nobody open so he held the ball too long and ended up taking a sacks with fumbles. He will be better if the recievers would get open in the routes they are supose to be running.

Couldn't have said this better. This guy is a class act just doesn't trust his employer. If we could all change our employers if we didn't trust them we would. I would love to see the raiders trade Fargus and a draft pick for him. They need a #1 reciever and don't need 3 #1 running backs and Cards have a long toothed Edge and could use somebody else to run with Hightower.
