Posted Saturday June 29, 2013, About: Nets not interested in bringing back Jason Collins
Looking at his career stats, I'm actually surprised that he lasted this long. 2003 and 2004 were probably his most "productive" years. Then it all went terribly downhills.
Posted Saturday June 22, 2013, About: Justin Bieber denied entry to Heat party
That comment was just right on. If you ACT like thugs pimps in your lifestyle and "performance", then don't expect people to see you as anything other than criminals.

"Stop treating me like a thug!", says the rapper who posed pics with gold plated guns.
"Stop treating me like an object!", says the exotic dancer who wore strings.
"Stop treating me like I'm good at math!", says the Asian with thick glasses and pocket calculator.

Slow news day, eh?
Posted Tuesday April 30, 2013, About: Stackhouse: Collins should be assured contract
Why would Jerry Stackhouse feel that Collins deserved another contract? Coming out or not means nothing in getting contracts. Kudos for being yourself, but 3.6 points career average, with just 0.7 point average for his 12th season, it's going to be difficult for ANY team to justify spending any cash on him.

Contracts should be based on your age and ability, period. I'm still scratching my head as to why the Lakers gave a 3 years contract to a 40 years old Steve Nash..... FORTY YEARS OLD!!
Posted Monday April 15, 2013, About: Lakers haven't discussed using amnesty on Kobe Bryant
Lakers pulling the trigger on the amnesty would be terrible PR, and it would make Mark Cuban giddy with joy as he points at EVERYBODY and yell: "I TOLD YOU SO!!"

Kobe is a freakishly competitive dude. He will most likely work himself back into game shape by the start of next season. Or, if it's going to really take a year, he should ASK to be amnestied so that he can help out his team, take the entire year to become fearsome again, and sign with the Lakers for 2014-2015 season. He's still going to get paid, but he is going to REALLY help out his team. Yes. HIS TEAM.
Posted Thursday March 28, 2013, About: White returns, won't stay for 'hectic' postseason
Yeah, I am going to let my boss know that I won't show up at work during the busiest few weeks of the year. I am sure he'll understand. It's, you know, a medical condition thingy.
Posted Friday March 22, 2013, About: Rockets in the dark, mum after White bolts D-League
I'm anxiously waiting to see Royce White working as a crosswalk guard too!! I am sure he will be most satisfied with his new career options.
Posted Monday January 14, 2013, About: Nash: Howard, not Kobe, L.A.'s anchor
My apologies to ESPN for my previous comment. Turns out ESPN's article was not titled in such ridiculous fashion. It's the T&R staff at Fannations...
Posted Monday January 14, 2013, About: Nash: Howard, not Kobe, L.A.'s anchor
Nash said: "You know, he's(DH) the anchor of the team. When he plays with energy, plays hard defensively, we're a different team."

So the title of this story goes: "Nash: Howard, not Kobe, L.A.'s anchor"

Really? That's like someone who proclaimed his love for beef, and then the media would post an article saying that guy HATES pork.

Damn. ESPN's writing staff is worse than tabloids...
Posted Friday January 04, 2013, About: White: Feud with Rockets is about being 'medically logical'
I agree with MMAFan. This guy is just a clown. The Rockets bent over backward for him already. They even tried to send him to the development league so that he can continue to sharpen his skills without having to travel much. But I guess that was "beneath" him to play for the development league...
Posted Wednesday December 12, 2012, About: Could Bibby go to Memphis?
Oh God... Please no.
Bibby is NOT the answer!!
Posted Monday December 10, 2012, About: Pau Gasol will start upon return to Lakers lineup
To Damon Deville: "take the keys of the Lakers out of his clueless son's hands and hand them over to his daughter's boyfriend"...

Seriously? It's a VERY EXPENSIVE franchise to own. What makes you think that the owners is just going to GIVE it away for FREE?!

If Phil Jackson wants to own it, he better come up with some sick amount of pennies that he's saved up over the years!
Posted Tuesday November 13, 2012, About: Phil Jackson 'stunned' Lakers chose D'Antoni

What do you think would happen, Phil?

You asked for WAY too much!!

Annual salary that's nearly as much as D'Antoni's entire 4 years contract.
Personnel decisions.
Successor decisions.
GM powers.
Ownership stakes.
Right to get into the pants of owner's daughter... (Oh wait, he's got that already)

Seriously, don't get greedy.
Posted Saturday October 27, 2012, About: Barkley took flak from Michael Jordan over critical comments
That horse looked so miserable in that photo for having to carry THAT much weight on its back...
Posted Monday October 22, 2012, About: Allen tired of life as a decoy
Tired of being a decoy? (laugh)
He's gonna end up as decoy for the other decoys with the Heats...
Posted Monday October 22, 2012, About: Allen tired of life as a decoy
All these excuses... The guy's just trying to chase an easy ring. Period!

Boston offered him more than 2x the money, but he decided to paint the team as belittling him and being mean to him. Oh boo hoo hoo.
Posted Friday June 15, 2012, About: Stern radio appearance takes ugly turn
Jim Rome asked an inappropriate (and extremely rude) question on air. How do you think Stern SHOULD reply? Personally, I would have replied in far less civil manners.

I am not a fan of Stern. But crucifying him for this is a joke. Much more anger should be directed at Jim Rome for his horrible line of questions.
Posted Sunday May 20, 2012, About: Kobe blames Gasol for Game 4 loss
Why blame Gasol for the loss? That's the same as how I blame Bush for the terrible economy... Not helping at all!!
Posted Sunday May 20, 2012, About: Kobe blames Gasol for Game 4 loss
I thought the Lakers' nightmares were over when they finally shed Luke Walton's dumb contract. Well, I guess there will be a LOT more changes coming this summer.
Posted Monday February 20, 2012, About: Lin asks media in Taiwan for privacy
Yeah, the Taiwanese media is notoriously bad. They hound you relentlessly, and they ask you dumb questions repeatedly until you crack and get mad at them.

Example: The Taiwanese reporters who swarmed Kobe Bryant before and after his loss to the Knicks. Kobe was not really aware of Lin, and for good reasons (Lin mostly warmed benches in the past), but those reporters made it sound like Kobe was an arrogant idiot. After the game, those reporters drilled Kobe endlessly on what he would advice Jeremy on his games. Seriously? Talk about "timings", people!

In any case, totally love Jeremy Lin's rise as a solid player. Sorry Lakers (team for my home city), that I actually cheered for NYK when you two played... I promise I won't cheat on you like that again! (At least for the rest of this season)
Posted Sunday February 19, 2012, About: Wall irked by late Rising Stars pick
