Good job Hooli.

Chelly's already hung on too long. I doubt he could crack the top 4 in LA (where Kyle Quincey became a top line guy after Detroit ran out of room). They had too much class to release Chelios, then.

Anyone remember Paul Coffey, or which was his last team (hints: not Detroit, Chicago, Pit, or Edmonton)

Wow, my acronym was bleeped, so I will simplify...Wiz (and his supporters) need to shut up
Posted Friday May 08, 2009, About: Wisniewski points finger at Holmstrom
Considering all the slashes to the groin, not to mention the backs of his legs, and the phantom interference calls after being shoved by a D-man, Homer has a right to get away with something. The majority of articles indicate it was incidental/accidental, and since he was not penalized at the time, nor disciplined by the league, Wiz (and his supporters) need to ****.

If the O-line can't protect him, he'll be another Joey (or Kitna, etc).

In his 'hawk days he also accused Vladimir Kostantinov as being the dirtiest player on the ice, which I thought was ironic, but once he realized he didn't want his kids to play like him he mellowed out. Points for being a dad, but not so good for intimidating opponents.

Unfortunately, he doesn't know when to quit, like Paul Coffey. Does anybody remember Coffey's last team? Cheli, of course, will finish in Detroit unless he decides to go somewhere else.

I'm surprised at the number of comments, and headlines, that refer to the money the gamblers lost. On any sports book placed on a line, half the bettors are winners, half are losers. In this case, if the call had been made properly, immediately, there would have been just as much money lost or won, just different winners or losers. In fact, since the booking agent (casino, bookie, whatever, usually takes a cut, there is always more money lost than won). So what is the point?
Posted Saturday June 28, 2008, About: Orpik rejects Penguins offer
One thing that seems to have been forgotten is that Orpik is one of several players who said they didn't want to come back if Therrien was still coaching. That was right after the finals.

Conversely, a lot of Wings players have stated how loyal management is to the players and that is why they accept less than market value to play/stay in Detroit.

Maybe it really isn't about the money in some circumstances.
