No way the suns try for him. They have a shallow bench, but can't find a way for their decent guards to have significant playing time. And then if they trade marion or stoudemire, they lose their scoring, which kobe would easily make up, but then they lose their top rebounders and shot blockers, which they need to keep, since they are sparse on defense. I think they will stay with their current roster for this year and make one last shot at the title with the nash-marion-stoudemire combo. if, however, they fall short...they will need to shift things around and find a new answer. trade marion for dwight howard maybe?

Personally...i don't think phoenix will deal him. they made room to keep him by shipping out their best interior defender and rebounder (kurt thomas). So they will most likely do the same thing or give him the money he seeks. If they do not win the championship this year, they will probably shift things around.....POSSIBLY think of dealing amare for marque players like...say....dwight howard or another big man. although there is low chance of that. plus, with the added depth of grant hill, alando tucker, and dj strawberry, all they have to get past are the mavs and spurs for the championship. no east team can contend with them, and the spurs are getting old. they SHOULD win the championship this year, anything else will be a major disappointment.
