Posted Tuesday November 25, 2008, About: Holtz: Irish should be better in '09
He should be, they were up 23-10 and just finished a grandeur collapse against SYRACUSE of all teams, at HOME.
Posted Sunday November 02, 2008, About: Meyer uses timeouts to get back at Richt
You can just feel a modern day feud growing between Meyer and Richt. Which is kosher... there are very few "coaching feuds" in this era compared to past eras (Royal - Switzer; Obsbourne - Switzer; The Spurrier of Florida vs. Fulmer/ all UGA coaches...).
Posted Sunday October 26, 2008, About: Hurricanes must reschedule Sooners
#5, you're exactly right.
Posted Thursday October 23, 2008, About: McCoy says he'll play for Texas in '09
#3, I do believe Bradford is a sophomore. Tebow's a junior, and Daniel is a senior... so he'll only have to deal with two maximum (Tebow/Daniel - Daniel's gone for sure and I'd bet a week's salary Tebow stays for his senior year).

Truth be told, I think he'll stay too.
Posted Thursday October 23, 2008, About: Penn State's next coach...
He's accumulated this much tenure at the University, he should at least be considered. I have nothing but respect for those like Bradley who remain viciously loyal to their respective programs.
Posted Thursday October 23, 2008, About: Syracuse preparing to fire Robinson
Serve the man his justice, go ahead and terminate him NOW. I'm not a fan of the midseason firings... but it's been long overdue as he has finished driving this one proud program into the ground. Also, there is very little to be gained from keeping what amounts to a "lame duck coach" around.
Posted Wednesday October 22, 2008, About: Mack Brown's 'cheesy' motivational tricks
They're steamrolling through their schedule, can't complain much.
Posted Sunday October 12, 2008, About: Mizzou defense feels sting
Did not see that score OR result coming.
Ahh the "parity" is reaching levels of insanity.

FEEEEEEEEEED ME.
Posted Monday June 30, 2008, About: Bigtime recruit doesn't need football
Shame more of our college football players aren't like this.
Posted Monday June 23, 2008, About: Tough times for new WSU coach
"If he kicks a wayward player off the team, that could hurt WSU under the NCAA's academic guidelines -- and possibly cost the Cougars another scholarship."

Why in God's name hasn't the NCAA made some kind of exception to this rule. A school should not be punished for kicking idiots and criminals off the team. Maybe its a sort of recruiting thing, to prevent schools from recruiting thugs and such, but man lots of people change in college, sometimes for the worse. This does not exclude "student-athletes" especially with the attention they receive. 25 arrests in 18 months is borderline outlandish though. He'll sure earn his salary.
Posted Tuesday June 17, 2008, About: Mendenhall rips Illinois' Zook
This caught me off guard for sure... I was indifferent about Zook until I read this... glad to see he did take the high road... a lot of people have said it already, it is pretty classless to trash your former coach in highsight. Just move on, enjoy your and enjoy your newfound wealth for Christ sakes.
Posted Tuesday June 17, 2008, About: Fulmer's not going anywhere
I agree with arejaydub.
Posted Sunday May 11, 2008, About: Gator used dead girl's credit card
I love that hairgut the Dawg had the bravado to refer to someone as a troll. If that's you in your profile picture then....... :|

On the at hand topic however - I don't care where this kid goes to school. Florida, Ohio State, USC, Virginia Tech, Canada Tech - wherever - this type of classlessness and blatant mischief is unacceptable, and he should be punished to the maximum extent of the law TIMES THREE. Actions like these go beyond school loyalty and such - in the end we are all still human and all have moral conducts, codes, and principles we should live by and sustain. He obviously does not. Beyond pathetic...
Posted Sunday April 27, 2008, About: BCS leaders consider expansion
And INCSOC - well said. The Big Ten AND Pac10 have serious officiating "deficiencies" at the moment.
Posted Sunday April 27, 2008, About: BCS leaders consider expansion
LSUDYNASTY - I wonder is it your lack of IQ that makes you so short sighted. Mind you, Ohio State has won 4 BCS games, including a national championship. Call it controversial if you must, but you aren't in the position to do such when your 2003 title brought just as much controversy. Anysuch, yes we've lost the last 2 title games. The 2006 game was a flop deserving of disdain, but 2007 not so much. An over-achieving (and VERY young) tOSU team who wasn't picked to be better than 3rd/4th in a down Big Ten did just the right things with the right amount of luck and made it back. LSU was the superior team - older, more mature and tested. Oh well, over it. Even though it does, these should have any affect on future teams we field, just as it didn't when Oklahoma had back-to-back flops in 2003 and 2004 - and when Florida State lost 3 of 4 title games in five years. (1996, 1998, won 1999, 2000). There was a time when the SEC wasn't highly regarded - just as the Big Ten isn't now. But do believe, all things college football are cyclical - and I can't wait until the day we can return the favor.
Posted Sunday April 27, 2008, About: Big Ten fights BCS changes
Thank you scarlet. I have wondered of late why Michigan supporters oft shoot down Ohio State, other than our obvious DISDAIN for each other. Michigan's schedule is no tougher than is Ohio State's. Don't make me mention the over-regarded fact we beat our LESSER opponents. It's not just Ohio State's fault the Big Ten conference has such a pathetic reputation right now. I'll tell you one thing the SEC surely beats us in (other than NC games haha), they have RELENTLESS conference pride. And believe me, they have rivalries just as rigid as UofM/ tOSU. But when it comes time to defending their conference, they will to the death even if they hate whom they are defending. They are the "it" right now, even more so because of superior conference brotherhood. So here we go Big Ten; would everyone (all ELEVEN strong) shut up, man up, put up, schedule better, stop crying because the media bashes us (isn't that all they're good for - bashing ones while their down), stop collapsing in big bowl games (something Michigan is notorious for too, don't just think tOSU) and "git-r-done".
Posted Saturday April 26, 2008, About: Son kills Tar Heels mascot
Too bad a Hokie is not a castrated turkey, dork. It's a completely fictional object, and while it may resemble certain poultry, it is not of the species, sorry.
Posted Tuesday April 08, 2008, About: Buckeye transferring to WVU
1 - Always have to congratulate college athletes who graduate, especially football players. 2 - Even more impressive that he's enrolling in grad school. 3 - Gotta wish the kid the best, especially with an ailing father. To bash him not fully knowing his circumstance is a little ridiculous ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A BUCKEYE YOURSELF. That is all.
Posted Tuesday April 08, 2008, About: UCLA expects to lose Love
I don't know of all the Love family's financial means and such, and I know lots of players in his position will leave early for the money, but honestly. Why not just enjoy college. There are pros and cons to every situation. Yes leaving early can make you wealthier, but that doesn't mean happier. You could stay a year or two (OR THREE) - at least come closer to a degree (hopefully), and ENJOY THE COLLEGE LIFE. Not to mention, continue to grow as a player with a somewhat lesser expectation (or should I say pressure to perform) than placed on those in the NBA.
Posted Tuesday April 08, 2008, About: Summitt: Future holds no UConn, Tennessee series
If you think about what she has done. Amazing. And put it in this context... imagine if that arch nemesis to the Lady Vols (being Uconn) had not arisen to be a great women's b-ball power - she could possibly have a few more titles. Incredulous. I'll be rooting hard for you to win that 8th one Pat, go Lady Vols.
