Why even draft this guy in the first place??? Yeah, I know it was a 7th round pick but selling pot TWICE to a undercover cop is all it should've taken for him to go undrafted. Maybe a UDFA signing but in hindsight even that looked like too much of a risk to take on this guy. I know hindsight is 20/20 but even the Browns should've seen this comming.
He's not taking anyone's slot but going to be the nickleback. Last year's nickleback moved up to starting CB after the departure of last year's starter, K. Lewis.
The Browns' new owner is actually spending some money for a change. How that will all end up is still up in the air but at least he's trying for a change.
Mike Brown just doesn't spend money but he'll have to spend some next year when the salary floor kicks in. I'm not sure what that will be set at but The Bengals are probably under it.
