The Knicks management A) hired Isiah Thomas as a GM after he ran an entire basketball league into the ground, B) allowed Thomas to single-handedly destroy the franchise for the entire past decade with mind-boggling player aquisitions, C) tried to hire Thomas back in a reduced role after he had been let go as a GM.

You're right that there is no "comparin Knicks mgmt to Magic mgmt". As far as I can see, the management of the Knicks can't be compared to any other team in all of sports.
