I think it doesn't matter if he stayed on not. He played a bit selfishly at Duke so they should have known what they were getting. The rumors were that privately they were happy he was leaving cause they will always get blue chip recruits. Vasquez is the true point but Rivers has the name. He may turn out to be another me-first Magette. Well written blog. Thanks.

As a coach, kids do look up to athletes. I make sure they understand some actions are acceptable and some are not. If they want to work hard at being the best that they can be, they have no problems. If they want to taunt and act the fool, they sit and learn by watching. If they don't agree with this, they are more than welcome to leave the team.
