I hate the college system because it has ended up in 7 overtime games and skewed offensive statistics. At the very least the teams should start further back from the 25 so fewer TDs are scored - or how about a 2-point conversion being required for all TDs in overtime. I also hate the NHL shootout system. Let them play an entire period, and if nobody scores, it is a tie.

Actually that was the short-lived XFL. I personally liked that system. Injuries happen all the time in football. If the NFL just scrapped the coin toss in favor of something objective, like the "get the ball" play or a statistic (i.e. the team ahead at halftime gets the ball, the team who scores last doesn't get the ball), every thing would be fine.
