Posted Wednesday October 28, 2009, About: Are Redskins censoring fans?
It's ok, just like the last 2 games at FedEx, the entire section in front of the owner's suite will continue their chants of "sell the team". And as a Giants fan living in DC, it's entertaining.
Posted Saturday October 24, 2009, About: NFL star to sign with AC Milan?
Jim Brown is considered one of the greatest Lacrosse players of all time. Syracuse went undefeated his senior season(in Lacrosse) and he was co-captain of the squad. He was also offered a contract by the NY Yankees before he went and played in college.
Posted Saturday October 24, 2009, About: White: Fedor should fight Lesnar
Dana will say anything to down Fedor. Until Fedor(eventually) signs with the UFC. I agree that M-1 is absolutely moronic, but they're looking out for themselves. Strikeforce paid through the nose to get Fedor.
Posted Thursday October 08, 2009, About: Will Jets trade keep LeBron out of New York?
I guess the NY Post forgot the Jets play across the river.
Posted Thursday October 08, 2009, About: Cabrera wants to remain a Twin
Great player, I met him back when he played Single A ball for the Expos. Helluva player, back then everyone knew he'd end up in the majors. Very underrated. I agree, I thought the Sox would've stuck with him, they've lacked a quality SS since he left. But he's far from a power bat, he's consistent with a damn good glove.
Posted Saturday October 03, 2009, About: Lashley in talks with Strikeforce
With TNA, they film a months worth of shows in a 3-4 day block. From what he said, that's why he's doing it. Easy money and exposure, and I'm sure TNA will milk the whole MMA thing.
Posted Saturday October 03, 2009, About: Lashley in talks with Strikeforce
You realize Lashley was a pretty good wrestler in college? He won two national amateur wrestling championships in 1996 and 1998 and placed fourth in 1995. In 1997 and 1998, he was the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Wrestling Champion. He also served in the military. I'm willing to put money on that'd he beat the hell outta you.
Posted Saturday October 03, 2009, About: Giant Jacobs: I'll retire if I don't improve
lol. It'd be a lot easier for you as a Boy fan if Jacobs did retire. He'll improve as the season wears on, as long as our passing game continues to be an effective threat. The first few games everyone has key'd in on the rush, and going into week 4 Steve Smith and Mario Manningham lead the NFC in recieving yards. And the Cowboys will go another year without a playoff W.
Posted Thursday October 01, 2009, About: White hints at Kimbo's return
One fighter had the dominant position and was(by the books) taking advantage. They weren't locked in the clinch, one fighter was still working continually. Kimbo has zero ground game, and Nelson did what he had to. Don't blame Herb Dean. Blame Dana for giving this bum airtime. Memo to Dana, Bring him back. Might as well expose him again then toss his garbage ass out on the streets. He's a bum.

Nelson won. Is it his fault Kimbo somehow got caught TWICE in the crucifix? He did what he had to, Kimbo couldn't defend himself so it was called.
Posted Thursday October 01, 2009, About: White hints at Kimbo's return
Why in the hell would any ref stand it up(Tribefan, RobertMenn)? One fighter was in a dominant position and raining blows on his opponent unanswered. Yes, I agree that the blows were far from anything substantial, but to arbuitrarily stand them back up, that's not what you do. I've seen Nelson fight before in the IFL, and I was never impressed. But Kimbo got handled, plain and simple. Nelson played it smart, took away Kimbo's distinct standup game, and took advantage of his utter lack of any ground game.

HGH is a helluva drug.
Posted Friday August 24, 2007, About: Yankees pitcher on short leash
Von Hart-So that's why Moose has never won anything significant? Pettitte anyday over Moose.

I didn't even like the Yankees signing him, right after he came out in the press conference "I'm going to be an O for life". Moose can't get it done.
Posted Friday August 24, 2007, About: Riley downplaying Artest deal
Mr. Sonic-Artest is roughly only a year older then Haslem. But truth be told, the Heat won't trade for Artest, it's not like Sac is looking to give him away.

Scoops-Haslem, Doleac, and a 2nd round pick? Are ya serious? No way that the Kings want ANY part of Walker or White Chocolate either.

I might be the only one who think it's gonna take A LOT more then just Haslem to get Artest. He's one helluva player, while Haslem is still just potential.
Posted Thursday August 23, 2007, About: Giants like Eli's Tiki defense
Legend-I doubt many defenses are looking forward to trying to take down Brandon Jacobs. The guy is roughly 6'4, 270.
Posted Wednesday August 22, 2007, About: Broncos interested in Trotter
He's a good player, hard nosed football guy. I have no idea why he was cut, does anyone? If the Giants could get him for cheap, then I say sign him in light of the recent injury plagued seasons. No reason not to have a quality backup.
Posted Wednesday August 22, 2007, About: Lakers blockbuster still possible
EJ-Exactly. Rod Thorn makes good deals. Not too many mistakes on his resume. Bynums trade value has fallen off since it's peak, and there is not another player(Maybe Turiaf, I digress) that Jersey would really like to have. Odom? Don't need him. Nice complementary player but doesn't put a team over. We've got our future PG, and we're pretty much set down low with Sean Williams, Josh Boone, Nenad, and Magloire. Kidd ain't going nowhere.
Posted Tuesday August 21, 2007, About: Quinn doesn't move up Browns chart
Legend-I agree with you, the Browns are slowly but surely turning around that Franchise. With Steinbach and Joe Thomas, and possibly LeCharles Bentley back in a year(healthy) that'll be a strong O-line to contend with. Throw in Braylon Edwards, KW2, and Quinn; that's a good base for any offense.

I'm not a Browns fan at all, but I'm a ND fan. This can turn out great with the right moves in future drafts(depth at line, draft from the inside out)
Posted Tuesday August 21, 2007, About: Heat still interested in Artest
Heater-The thing is about potential, Haslem is only about a year younger then Artest. So, at some point GMs stop trading because of potential.
Posted Tuesday August 21, 2007, About: Man shot at Wizard's home
Here in DC it was reported that there was a party at his home, and shots were fired in and out of his home. Oh well.
Posted Tuesday August 21, 2007, About: Rangers may shut down reliever
Use Josh Rupe!!!
Posted Tuesday August 21, 2007, About: Broncos eyeing free-agent DE
He'd be a good pickup for the Broncos. Have him in for situational play, along with Jarvis Moss could create some havoc for some QBs.
