Auburn needs to improve their market research. Young kids want Escalades not Hummers. They also want to win- try working on that. Auburn is being very strategic. They know they have a up-hill battle for recruits in Birmingham, Huntsville, and Gadsden. They works hard on Montgomery and Prattville but the only jewel they could snatch would be Mobile. Auburn see Bama go to the Gulf coast and get Terrance Cody and Julio Jones in one year and then use the leverage to recruit Louisiana. They want their share of the bounty. I hope they get the door slammed in their face. Hands off our recruits!!!

Is the bad economy to blame for losing to Toledo? I understand that with the Big three in Michigan teetering on the brink, that external pressures may be rough, but a good coach can get kid's to channel that energy into something positive.

You can complain about the BCS, but it could be worse. There used to not be a title game. They just voted at the end of the season on who they thought was the best. That led to alot of people being reeeaaallly PO'ed. At least they give us something to watch.

There is no contreversy. The gators did the least offensive thing to counteract last years blunder. I credit them for not doing something really nasty. If they had thrown in the last minute and then gone for two that would have been good.

I think he will stay in the Pac-10, but he would do well at Clemson. The overbearing AD there would be a cake-walk compared to the crap he put up with at the Raiders. Tennessee wouldn't be a good fit for him.

I heard that Majors came out and said his biggest coaching mistake was hiring Fulmer in the first place, for his staff. He sent out an aplology to UT fans for having to suffer for his mistake. It may have been a rumor( probably on T&R), but if true, darn that is harsh.
