Totally agree with this, Manning is soooooo overrated it is crazy. The guys has been extremely lucky, go back and look at his career, how many drives were saved by DB penalties, other defensive penalties, lucky catches, open your eyes!! Just because you win super bowls doesn't make you the great thing since slice bread. Hell, Trent Dilfer and Mark Rypien won a super bowl, enough said.

This article is so true, the Big10 is the most over-hyped conference there is. When is the last time they won a national championship in one of the major sports, it's been at least 10 years. They get overrated with the media, then when it comes down to real competition, such as bowl games they get their asses handed to them. They have the worst winning percentage in the BCS era than any of the other big 6 conferences in bowl games.
I'll tell what I'm sick and tired of hearing about is ND, a totally irrelevant school that has done nothing in the last 20 years and whose fans somehow think they still matter. Most overrated college there is, get over yourselves.
Wow, this guy is such a tool. What is the saying, "act like you've been there". Have some class, can you imagine Roy Williams or Coach K making those type of ego statements. UNC had 4 guys go in the top 17 yesterday, didn't hear Roy making stupid statements, it's about his players, not him.
I agree with some of the other posts, getting tired of hearing about the Knicks, an overrated franchise if there ever was one. I guess they are kind of the Notre Dame of the NBA, a lot of hype for a team that has done nothing in the past 12 years.

The BCS is also contradictory about what they say, one of the big issues they bring up is that they didn't want a playoff to extend the playing season, but yet look at when the BCS games are played now, they have stretched them out to where now the Championship game is 10 days later from when all the big games used to be played on the 1st. As I said in a previous post this a just a good ol' boy network with all the top school Presidents not wanted to share, it's just ridiculous and frustrating for fans.
You know I really don't understand the BS that the BCS always throws out there about messing with the existing bowls and how it would do away with them. At this point there is only one bowl that really matters, that is the BCS championship. You can take the existing BCS bowls and make them part of the playoff. The other bowls can still go on as they always have. They really didn't mean anything except for the teams that play in them anyway, no different with a playoff, except you actually will have more bowl games that mean something. Kind of tired of the good ol' boy network, status quo, when it comes to the BCS.
It will take years for this guy to have a positive impact after seeing how bad the Panthers are right now.
That's not necessarily true. Look the Panthers aren't the best team in the league but they do have parts there, they have had injuries on the O line. Look what Bradfor has done for the Rams. They were terrible and in one year with him look how much they have inproved. From what I hear Luck is the kind of frachise player you do not pass on. Hopefully he enters the draft and the Panthers pick him up. You need that type of player to build off of.
Why would he be overwhelmed. Your at a school that basically has played .500 for the last 20 years, where is the pressure? Have to admit this is fun. Where is all the people that predicted a NC in Kelly's first year. This is soooooo much fun, did I mention that.
Why include Charlotte? If you remember this is a city that from 1988-1998 led the NBA in attendance with almost 24K per game. It has been a little rough because of the resentment with the Hornets and their owner, how he left town. Things are getting better with Jordan as the owner and with the team winning now. Why would a team relocate to Seattle, they had their chance and lost a team, tough $#!T. You have teams like Memphis, Minn, Toronto, hell lets get rid of the Knicks, they've done nothing, besides it's NY, lets can the fanchise so we don't have to deal with them anymore.
AND HOW MANY NATIONAL CHAMPIONS??????? OH YEAH, NONE.
