I agree with you. Texas is having a great recruiting year at present and already has plenty of talent on the bench. However, so does UF. It will be interesting to see how Texas bounces back and to see Muschamp at the wheel. I think these two teams will be fun to watch.
I heard similar rumors here in Texas about a few Auburn players using debit cards under the names of others to evade detection. I certainly hope for Auburn and college football in general, that these are indeed just rumors. If the FBI is involved it make take a while to know the facts. No knock to the FBI, their work just tends to be lengthy as will as extensive. I see no big deal with Cam's dad being present the national championship.
I think if he leaves for Michigan, it will be more about wanting to serve alma mater then the $$$. I think would also be offer more $$$ if does leave, but this wouldn't be his primary motivation. He'll follow his heart first, whether its to stay or go.
Thanks (no sarcasm here, I'm sincere) for the definition, I was not aware of this nor it as a requirement for PAC 10 admission. Now help me to understand the public college comment. I must admit, I'm public university grad. My question is however is not as defensiveness, I think I'd ask it even if I had gone to a private school.
No. I'm not connected with any of the schools mentioned. I question comments that seem bigoted. I'm not defensive but I'm am asking you to defend your remarks, if you can. Sorry, if honest inquiry makes you uncomfortable.
What do you mean "an excellent academic college for a public school'? It suggests an opinion that private schools are naturally superior. Are they? If so why? Define research institution. I thought a lot of IT research was being done at Boise? I'm also wasn't aware of Utah's academic reputation? Why are they and Colorado so good?
I think your opinion of Colorado is over-inflated and of Boise under-inflated (deflated?). It doesn't matter what Boise used to be, it's what they are now that counts. "Colorado has one of the best academic programs" ....really? I've been there, it's party school with good PR.
Texas has some awesome recruits for next year. However, I've heard Ol' Mack hasn't been nice to his assistants this year. It would be great for Texas to get Harsin, but if I was him I wouldn't leave Wisconsin unless I was offered I big pay raise.
Good point, but I'm not sure. Seems like he had this opportunity 3 years ago but didn't take it. Miles has repeatedly expressed his opinion that coaching in the SEC is the biggest challenge. He has also expressed his happiness at LSU. Nevertheles(s), I'm certain he has strong feelings for his alma mater. Just in case, Michigan, needs to cast an open net. What about that Wisconsin OC or Petersen?
Maybe, but he won the big the BCS championship. You might wish stay put, he could be a real headache for you in the Big 10(+2). By the way, congrats, in the Sugar Bowl. I was pulling for the Hogs, but your team played so fine football.
I don't ever recall Fla. or BAMA chanting S-E-C, but I have heard it from the Tiger (LSU) faithful. I would speculate that the Ken. and Ark. fans are passionate and proud of both their school and conference. What's wrong with that?
Rockhound, you are certainly passionate, but re-read your comments you're the one sounding arrogant. It's your opinion, to think of Miles as more lucky than talented. I hope the hiring folks at Michigan agree with you.
