You need to check your history Yipicya. Minnesota has been national champions in football six times (1934, 1935, 1936, 1940, 1941, 1960). Granted, those championships occured a long time ago, but to state that Minnesota has never been national champions is completely inaccurate. In fact, by my count Ohio State has only won two more national championships than Minnesota. Ohio State National Championships (1942, 1944, 1954, 1957, 1961, 1968, 1975, 2002). Prior to the 2002 national championship, I would argue that OSU's national titles are bordering on the archaic as Minnesota's are.
I am not arguing that Minnesota compares to OSU in football. I was just irritated by your ignorant statement that Minnesota never has been national champions.
