This is a situation inundated with heaps of immaturity. He gets benched for four games, plays well off the bench and receives praise from his coach for his defense, but bolts without telling anyone? His teammates found out through various forms of technology -- Text messages from people not even on the team, Facebook, ESPN, etc. -- and his coach learns of it over the phone in a conversation, not with the play himself, but with his dad?
Grow up and get a good education, Larry Drew II, because it certainly doesn't look as though you're going to have much of a career at the next level. That is, unless your dad sticks up for you again drafts you for his own team.
Even so, although he seems to be immature and somewhat lacking in talent, I wish Drew good luck in whatever his future holds for him.
Should say player, not play.
"...dad sticks up for you again drafts you for his own team."
Should say "...sticks up for you again AND drafts you..."
My bad.

The Jets said plenty of classless remarks -- No punishment from Ryan.
Anyway, congratulations from a Patriots fan to the Jets and Jets fans for their win. They outplayed the Patriots and deserved the win.
And Deion, shut up.
