As a Cowboys fan, it was exceedingly difficult to defend TO (and always difficult to support a team owned by frog face). I am grateful that I no longer have to concern myself with his nonsense. Now, if only Froggy would sell the team to someone worth a damn.

For the purpose of dogfighting, I should have added.

Transporting dogs over state lines is in fact a federal crime. Why let the facts get in the way when you can rant with such authority.

So, basically your mind is limited to name calling? Very impressive rebuttal. You have certainly proven yourself to be brilliant and quite far from the idiot you would so have anyone who sees this believe me to be. And for the record, if you were at the game, you would undertsand why your peers rooting for the Celts were so concerned, but why let facts get in the way when you just sat on your as_ and watched on TV and therefore lack any real perspective here. Yep, I'm the idiot.

Wow, you almost spoke English there. You are wrong in so many laughably obnoxious ways that it is not really worth a response. I was at the game, moron. Were you?

As a Laker fan, I do not want to see the Celts without KG. I want them at their best, no matter what and I want them in the Finals against the Lakers. However, I can say that what you describe as intensity seems a lot like misplaced and frequent chest pounding and yapping at other players. No, he did not do nearly as much when he was with the Wolves. It is for that reason that the Celtics of old will always be far more respected than the piecemeal barking dogs of the current iteration. I obviously have never liked the Celtics, but at least Lakers fans used to have respect for them when they were successful because they were professional and, if not always classy, never needed to resort to the same kind of histrionics as this team.

Who's the fool and hater? The homer who believes every silly spectacle placed together by a team of woofers or those of us who found it baffling that Pierce screamed in agony as if he had been shot (and he would know), had to be carried off, but miraculously came back a few minutes later? KG will return, probably getting out of a wheelchair, at some crucial moment for the Celts.

Because one of the biggest problems with your argument is that there is a hitter out there in manny's place who would have been as clutch.
Posted Tuesday April 14, 2009, About: Manny hoping for Indians reunion
No, it's just a whole lot better than not being there, where there is no chance whatsoever to win a championship.
Posted Tuesday April 14, 2009, About: Manny hoping for Indians reunion
Yes, I suspect he/she did not really think that one out.
Posted Tuesday April 14, 2009, About: Manny hoping for Indians reunion
I agree, no one player does it, but take Manny away from either of those teams and no championships, not even with Bay.

As many as Boston has in yours, as a matter of fact.

Because he is not 29. And no, I do not think he is the second coming of Ripken, Gehrig or Buddha. His crapulence in Boston cost him the deal, but so did his age and the economy.

Ohhhh, I forgot about the long and glorious decades of nothing but championships for the Sox. How silly of me.
Posted Tuesday April 14, 2009, About: Manny hoping for Indians reunion
And that necessarily means that I was stating that to be Boston is to be from Boston? Really?
Posted Tuesday April 14, 2009, About: Manny hoping for Indians reunion
Do you recall what the Sox history was before Manny? Given how much the Dodgers had sucked and choked, yeah, I'll take it. Which is essentially the whole point. The Sox were **** dead for a century, fans weeping constantly about Buckner and their woes, but manny comes on board, helps deliver two championships in short succession, but all the Sox fans care to do is pis_ and moan about how he left.

Did I write anything to say you were from Boston? Wow, and can read, too? Nice work.
Posted Tuesday April 14, 2009, About: Manny hoping for Indians reunion
You mean like the one who delivered two championships or the one who took the Dodgers almost single-handedly to the NLCS?
Posted Tuesday April 14, 2009, About: Manny hoping for Indians reunion
Ahhh the personal attack. How clever, how Boston, how brilliant, not to mention it took such a very long time.

The difference is that Dodger fans aren't carrying the same kind of expectations of divine loyalty of Manny. They are happy with what he did and have no expectation of his being back next year. Boras is Boras and their owner is a moron. Therefore, Dodger fans truly will appreciate what they get even if it is only this year.

Yeah, yeah, and the two rings he got for your precious team. Surrrre, let's forget about that.
