yao has not been a bust. he's been good when he's played.. that's more than the kwame browns and darko's of the world can say.

let's not forget that he played hurt in the game 1 vs the lakers to help his team win and even after he got hurt.. the rockets took the lakers to 7. if yao was healthy, the rockets might've been the ones holding up the trophy instead.

theo is mad cause jd raped him on the gagne deal. now he's hesistant on trading the rangers buchholz for salty. i do agree, however, that the trade would definately help both teams.

jd should not back down from his asking price. the rangers have no pressure going into next season, the red sox do. let them resign varitek and his .200 avg. maybe by midseason, theo will fold under the pressure and do the deal.

texas has 4 catchers that are all mlb-ready or close to mlb ready. taylor teagarden is probably our best catcher out of the bunch, so we're looking to trade the others for pitching depth. it's not that salty is a cancer, it's just that we have a surplus at C and need pitching.
